章 61: Surface

As soon as her feet touched the ground, Jasmine released her magic again, this time focusing entirely on offence. Hundreds of threads came out of her fingers and encircled every one of the creatures and, with a flick of her wrist, she crushed them to fine powdery ash. 

The ground seemed to sway beneath her as she rested against the wall of the cave, taking in deep, shallow breaths with her eyes closed. 

Oh, what I'd give for a warm bath and some soup, maybe a slice of cake and tea too. 

Jasmine shook her head, she has to try and stay focused. After she finds the Kings and Lillian, then she can think of all those things. 

Jasmine finally opened her eyes and pushed herself off the wall, surveying her surroundings. She still looks like she is inside a cave but … something's different here.
