{TWO DAYS LATER, MAIN HALL OF DEITIES TEMPLAR HEADQUARTERS}
A loud crash echoed in the hall as a table was thrown against the wall. A tall and robust man was seen panting in the wake of destruction he caused. He asked in a rough voice bellowed, " Where are Li Miolin and Li Lu? Someone bring them to me before...."
A smooth voice cut him off and spoke, " That table was made of green jade and costs 10 million low-grade spirit stones. That will come out of your pockets, Martial Master Di. As for Li Miolin and Li Lu, they have gone to Snow Wind Continent along with Inner Disciple Ao."
Martial Master Di turned to look at a handsome man sitting in the corner and snarled, " With whose permission, Master Treasurer Shin?"
Master Shin replied in a calm voice, " I allowed them to go."
Master Di puffed up in anger but an elderly man interrupted his upcoming triad and asked, " Why?"
Master Shin snorted and said, " Master Ji!! In order to make sure that Disciple Li can give her all in serving our sect, we needed to sever all her connections to outside world. There are two things that are more important to her than out sect; revenge against the assassins who killed her entire clan and the family of her fiance. The assassins were allowed to be killed by Li Lu so that she will not get cold feet in any future fights. As for her fiance and his family, we will deal with them after Li Lu returns."
Master Di snorted and said, " What will happen if she comes to know about this?"
Master Shin snorted and said, " Do you even know the plans that Sect Master has for Li Lu?"
Master Ji spoke up, " We don't know."
Master Shin, " The sect master wants to become a God Realm Cultivator at all costs. Li Lu has an unawakened physique which is powerful enough to atleast allow her to become a God Realm Cultivator easily....."
Master Di, " So, he wants to use Li Lu as a cultivation cauldron in order to advance his own cultivation. Sect Master is quite ruthless. Use of such technique will end her life."
Master Shin laughed and said, " Nah!!! He is not powerful enough to survive the backlash of such an act. He plans to sell Li Lu to some super force in a distant galaxy. He is sure that Li Lu is valuable enough to give him enough resources to advance to God Realm. Moreover, he will also be able to forge good relations with that force."
Master Ji asked in a doubtful tone, " What stops such a huge force from taking Li Lu away with force?"
Master Shin, " Our world don't have any teleportation formation. The nearest one is one month away. That much time is enough to flee to some obscure world with Li Lu for a slippery person like our sect master."
Master Di, " How do you know so much?"
Master Shin smiled and said, " The sect master is a man full of vices and is also quite vain. He likes to hear praises. He calls high born ladies with no cultivation from the cities under us to his bed chambers. After doing the deed and getting drunk, he tells them his plans in order to listen to their praises but he kills them in the morning. He is a messed up fellow. Sometimes, I think of disposing him but he has enough fanatical supporters in the sect that I will not be able to survive the aftermath."
Master Di, " You should discard such thoughts. We can get..." Master Di was interrupted by the loud shouts suddenly coming from outside. The Three Masters went outside and saw that the disciples of sect were fighting with against black cloaked Cultivators and loosing badly.
Master Di stopped one of the disciples and asked, " What happened here and why the defensive formations were not activated?"
The disciple spoke, " Martial Master Di!! The leader of the invading force destroyed our formations in a single blow. After that, we were asked to surrender peacefully but Elder Fu cursed the invaders and inspired us to attack the invaders. I am going to the Northern front. I am sure that with your help, venerable masters, we will be able to drown these petty invaders in their own blood."
Master Di let the disciple go and watched him run towards the Northern front. He sighed and said, " There goes another fanatic to his death. So, how should we run from here?"
Master Shin spoke up, " Follow me!!!"
{ A FEW HOURS LATER, MAIN HALL, DEITIES TEMPLAR SECT}
A few men were kneeling on the hard stone floor. The condition of the people was not too good. They were injured and fear could be seen clearly on their faces. All of them were restrained in iron chains which had golden symbols inscribed over it. One of them looked around and saw that no one was present aside from them in the hall so he tried to speak up but the chains tightened around his body. The man gulped in fear and turned to look at his right side where at the corner of the hall, more people bound in chains were thrown in a heap upon each other. The only difference was that they was no sign of life in them.
The man closed his eyes and simply rested his head on the floor. He could still hear the screams and battle cries of his students in his mind as they tried to fight against their attackers. Their attackers numbered in thousands and even he, who was a Mid Ninth-Order Saint Realm Cultivator could not sense their cultivation. He fought back tears as he recalled the death and destruction they had heaped upon their sect. They had killed everyone except the people present in this room, even the sect master was dead. Why they were being kept alive, he didn't know but he hoped that his suffering would be over soon.
{GENERAL P.OV.}
Alexander and his guards arrived above an island. Alexander examined the island and saw that dead bodies were littered all across the island and the fires were devouring the vast forest present on the island. Rumbles of building could also be seen amidst the chaos. The air was thick with the scent of blood and fire.
Alexander spoke up, " I think that I had ordered subjugation of Deities Templar with minimum bloodshed so what's this?"
Jonathan, " The army had send a few battalions of Peak Saint Realm Cultivators led by HighGod Realm Cultivators to ensure that no casualties would be reported on our side. I think that the recruits became somewhat excited and this is the result."
Alexander, " If your theory is true then, the discipline of the recruits is not upto the required level. I will order the instructors to it increase their training..." Alexander stopped speaking as he saw a few figures moving in relatively high speeds from the island towards their group. Soon, the group arrived before Alexander and bowed as one. Alexander nodded and asked, " So, what happened here?"
One of the generals stepped forward and said, " Your Highness!! As per your orders, we were going for peaceful subjugation but they refused and a small skirmish happened. The people of Deities Templar fought to the last member but we were able to captured some of the elders. Unfortunately, the three masters under sect master escaped through a secret passage which blocked off our spiritaul senses. We were able to discover the passage as we heard it's opening. By the time, we arrived the passage had closed. The formations on the passage are quite marvellous, it hided it from all detections. Our assasins are searching for them currently while our resreachers are studying the formations. I can assure you that they will be found soon."
Alexander nodded and said, " What about the prisoners?"
The general continued, " They are held in the main hall. We followed the standard procedure in imprisonimg them. A few lost their lives in the interrogations conducted by the Punishers. We had to oblivate the rest and repair the dead bodies as the remaining had nearly lost their minds due to fear. They are still suffering from the aftereffects. We used the mind tempering spell to make them believe that the screams of their fellow captives was the screams of their students as they sacrificed their lives for their sect. They are mourning right now."
Alexander shook his head and thought, " Fanatics are truly the most dangerous people." He spoke up, " After you recover all the information, examine them for any dormant bloodlines. They will become breeders for five years for any volunteering prisoners. After that they will be killed."
Jonathan, " That's why you stopped the execution of female prisoners, Your Highness!!"
Alexander, " I will not force them. Let's return to the kingdom after a small stop. Also, conquer this world for me. The fate of Huang Xiaolong will be decided after the reports of the healers."
