Meanwhile, on the upper deck where Ivan and Zion were present...
Ivan had his back against the wall, not moving or making a sound. Gunshots and screaming from the lower deck had reached the upper deck.
Hence, the partying elites had scattered around. Since they were in the middle of the ocean, people were just running around to safety.
He had witnessed others riding a lifeboat to save their own life and a few circles of friends. Still, no one cared about people they didn't care about.
Humans would always show their selfishness in times like this. Still, this chaos had granted them the opportunity to move at their own discretion.
"What's the situation on the lower deck?" Ivan whispered through his earpiece, peeking on the end of the stairs to see if an enemy was there.
"Sir, the lower deck mostly consist of —"
*BANG*
For those who shed tears for Inigo, he appreciates all the tears. After all, my little Inigo only wants someone to mourn for him, and you guys granted it. You are the real Matthews. He thanked you sincerely for that. :)
There are only a few more chapters until the end of this arc and the novel's finale. It still felt surreal, and I'm not ready to say my goodbyes to WYM characters just yet.--- but here's my letter for you.
To my readers,
I appreciate you for accompanying me throughout this journey from start to end. It's been a year and many months since WYM started; it was a hell of a year with you guys!
I have no words to say but THANK YOU. Thank you for all the supports and love for me and my work. As I've said before, writing was my way to cope up with depression.
Although it was helpful, but at some point, it became one of the most stressful source for me. But then, after a long break (which you all supported), I realized it was not writing alone that helped me through all those tough times.
It was YOU. Yes, you, who is reading this Author's Note. Because of you, my dearest; your votes, gifts, COMMENTS, and just your silent supports is the reason why I loved and continued on writing.
So, thank you for everything and I love you all. I hope to see you on my next work <3
