She turned to Max, "Hi Max." She greeted him casually and he didn't respond, but she still took her seat anyway.

Using Emma as an excuse, she wanted to stay where they are. There's no way she's going to let the two be alone.

The sight of them was already making her inside boil.

"Where have you been since all these while?" She asked, but Max didn't think much about it.

He had no idea that Alicia was involved in the whole attempt.

"Somewhere yours and your Father's hand couldn't reach." Emma replied, picking Olivia's habit.

Alicia gritted her teeth.

She scoffed.

"Dear, you should at least compose in front of Max. If you keep this up, you will remain single for life. Men aren't a fan of brainless women." She shot back with a smile.

"It's Mr Walker." Max was the first to speak up, while his attention was still buried on his phone.
