章 13: Chapter-13
[Note- In the last chapter I changed miss advisor's name from Misha flott to Misha flirt but none of you guys noticed it....I guess nobody cares about her.🤔]
---[P.O.V changed to William]-
*Tap*Tap*
I walk in a world filled with darkness.
Silently making my way without any destination.
After who knows how long I see a white dot in this world of darkness.
*Tap*Tap*
I make my way towards the white dot with unhurried foot steps as it grows bigger and bigger.
It starts to resemble the shape of a person in white.
*Tap*Tap*--*Stop*
A face that I cannot forget comes in my vision.
"Do you regret it?"
He says that as he points towards my back with his chin.
I follow his lead and look towards the darkness.
"Look closer"
I put more focus on my eyes as the scene of complete darkness gets replaced by the death scene of Dylan and leader.
"Do you regret it?"
I stay silent as I look at the person in a complete white dress with a face exactly the same as the one from my past life.
"Do you want to change it?"
I look back as the scene changes once again but this time it is replaced by the happy face of Dylan, Julia, Leader and me drinking and eating in the hostess of fertility.
"I can give it to you"
He said that in a sweet voice.
"You just need to follow the path I show you"
The darkness behind me disappears and is replaced by a blinding light.
"Just take a step back"
"Can't you hear their voices"
I look back and see leader,Dylan and Julia standing in the light as they stretch out their hands towards me while calling out my name.
"William"*"Will-boy"*"william~~~"
As I look at their happy faces all the hesitation within me disappears.
"What are you waiting for go ahead and join them"
I once again look at myself of the previous life as I take a step..
Towards the darkness in front of me.
"It will be a lonely journey"
I ignore the me from the past as I move forward without looking back.
*Smile*
A smile forms on the face of my past self as he looks at William's figure blending in the darkness.

*Eyes open*
A wooden ceiling comes in my vision as I open my eyes.
I move my upper body and look at the unfamiliar room.
"I passed out due to blood loss"
I check the bandages around my body as I make a quick conclusion.
*Snore*
I turn my head towards the snoring sound and find miss advisor sleeping on a nearby stool with drool coming out of her mouth.

"Mhm"
*Poke*Poke*
"Just a little longer~~let me sleep just a bit more~~"
*Poke*Poke*Poke*Pok--
"CUT IT OUT WILL YO--Wghk"
I shout out as a finger enters my mouth and make me choke on mid sentence.
I opened my eyes in a fury and look at the person responsible for breaking my beauty sleep.
*Blink*Blink*
I blink my eyes as I see William who was suppose to be asleep for the next 3 days sitting on the bed and staring at me.
'So it's a dream after all how can William wake up in less than a day with the type injuries which will send a normal person to a coma for life'
I make a silent comment in my mind as I once again close my eyes to enter my dream world.
"It's good that you're awake miss Misha "
My eyes shot open as I heard the familiar yet unfamiliar voice.
"William....is that really you William"
*nod*
He gives a silent nod to answer my question.
"WILLIAM~~"
In my excitement I jump and pull him in a hug.
"I thought that you might never wake up----"
---[William's P.O.V]-----

I am currently being hugged by Miss advisor as she's sometimes laughing and sometimes crying.
'I suppose it's my fault'
I say silently in my mind as I let her hug me until she's satisfied.
----------(5 minutes later)
"How are you feeling William?"
"I am okay now"
"Are you sure that you're not pretending??"
She says that as she pokes my body with her hand as if to get a reaction.
"I am perfectly fine now miss Misha"
I say in a monotonous voice as she stops poking me.
"Is that so...."
"I would like to know what happened to leader and Dylan"
"About that..."
She shows a regretful expression as she starts talking.
Leader managed to survive but her right leg became useless due to being bitten too many times by the giant ants and she quite being an adventurer.
As for Dylan he died due to various organ failure the guild has informed his relatives and his body is going to be cremated after 48 hrs.
[I searched it and found out that you must wait for 48 hours before cremating a dead body according to law ]
"I understand"
I say after hearing the details from miss Misha.
"William.."
I look at miss Misha as she calls out my name in a small voice.
"I know that you have been through a lot but why.."
She hesitates before continuing.
"Why do I not see even a hint of sadness on your face..."
Her voice becomes lower and lower as she finishes her sentence in an almost inaudible voice and then lowers her head down just like a child who has committed some sort of mistake.
I look at her shaking figure and open my mouth to say...

'You're such an idiot Misha how could you say that to a person who just escaped death'
I keep reprimanding myself an I lower my head even more not daring to look at William's face any more.
'I should apologize'
Just as I was thinking of apologizing, William's voice rang's out.
"Not at all miss advisor...infact I feel so painful that I don't even know what to do"
'William...'
I look up and see the sad face of William with his eyes turned watery and a face filled with grief.
'YOU'RE SUCH AN IDIOT MISHA'
I once again scream in my mind as I look at the grieving William.
'He must be holding himself back but you just had to make him feel worse.'
I felt like smashing my head in a wall.
"Can I have some private time"
"Y-yes please I will leave right now."
I reach the door and turn my head half way as I open my mouth and say
"I am sorry William.."
*Slam*
I slam the door and run out without looking back.
--[P.O.V changed to William]-----
I look at the closed door and say in a dull voice
" I am sorry miss advisor..."
I raise my hand and remember what my past life said to me.
"It will be a lonely journey"
I clean the water from my eyes with my hand as the indifferent expression returns to my face as I continue my sentence.
"But I really don't feel anything....."
