章 105: EPISODE 105: Road to the Cavern!

Many legends speak of a cavern found deep under the chasms of the Cerulean Sea. The cavern was once an island, which belonged to the Laurenburg region. The island was bountiful with crops, trees, and vegetables. Different Pokemons of different sizes inhabited the large isle.

As time went by, people came to the island and lived with the Pokemon inhabiting it. Their life was peaceful and safe, everybody was generous to each other, may it people or Pokemon. On one occasion, a fatal earthquake took place. Everybody was asked to evacuate the island together with their Pokemons through a canoe. The people had to hurry or else a tsunami would hit them.

The island sunk deep under the depths of the Cerulean sea. As time goes by, cave systems were formed on the sunken island. On of these cave systems, is no other than the Cavern Of The Deep. The deepest portion of the sunken island hence the name "the deep"

People say that this cavern is inhabited with rock type Pokemons which stayed deep underground during the earthquake. There were also some Pokemons belonging to different types, these are the Pokemons which were in caves during the time of the earthquake.

In order to reach the cavern, one must dive deep into the Cerulean sea and find the sunken island. From the sunken island, one must enter the cave, which first filled with water of course. As a person travels inwards, he or she will be met with a small circular boulder which seals the cave from the other cave systems. The person must move the stone, then seal it right away before the water fills the rest of the cave system.

This is our goal for today, to enter the sunken island, the cave system and to find the cavern!

"Wake up! Wake up! Wake up!" I banged two pots to wake up my friends and their Pokemons. Excitement woke my body up! Today is the day we find the cavern of the deep! Riolu's feeling better now, his Poketrans gem deteriorated but still, with my aura and his aura, we're inseparable.

"It's seven in the morning!" Zhery went out of his tent filled with frustration and anger.

"What's wrong if it's seven in the morning. The sooner we get to the cavern, the faster we can find my parents!" I beamed with excitement and determination.

"You're always rushing things, I'm going back to sleep!" Zhery uttered with frustration and went back to her tent. You might be wondering, by the way, we bought new tents last time, after what happened with Bouffalant chase.

"Hmph! Wake up!" I banged the pots even louder than before, hoping that I'll be able to wake them up.

My plan wasn't working, so I decided to do something mischievous. Hehe!

"Alright Riolu... use Vacuum wave on all of their tents!" I uttered with a mischievous smile.

All my friends and their tents were blasted to the sky! Who can't wake up to that now!

"What was that for!?" Zhery went out of her ruined tent with a ruined hair.

"Oops, I guess I and Riolu had overdone things again! You can fix your hair anyways." I teased and laughed at Zhery's hair.

"Don't you know how many hours I spend, just to fix my hair! I'll get you next time, mark my words!" Zhery uttered with frustration and fixed her tent. Glade and Camellia also went out of their tent looking sudden and dizzy.

"Rise and shine, it's cavern time!" I shouted and beamed with excitement.

"Cavern, oh right... I forgot." Camellia uttered with a worried voice.

"Operations all set, quadrants a, b, and c is ready for lift-off!" Commander Luna uttered and reported. Three planes dashed into the sky, heading towards route twenty-eight. I guess team Chaos had a plan of their own.

Another plane followed after the first three. This plane had a higher defense system and a higher defense mechanism. This plane is where their boss and his queen are located. The plane was filled with mirrors that reflected the sky. The planes became transparent as it flew across the sky. The five commanders were with the boss as well. I have a feeling, that this won't go well at all.

From the shore of the Cerulean Sea, me and my friends rented Scooba outfit. We had only one hour to find the sunken ship and the cavern, if we fail, we'll have no oxygen left.

"Alright team, let's dive deep!" I uttered with excitement and determination.

"Do you even know how to swim... hmm?" Zhery teased.

"Of course I do, swimming is easy as ever!" I boasted while putting on my diving gear.

"What are we waiting for? Let's go!" Glade beamed with excitement and walked towards the deeper parts of the sea.

The sea was bright and colorful! It was filled with corals and cute little water type Pokemons. One of them had a big and shiny teeth!

Camellia and Zhery played with the water-type Pokemon which swam by while looking for the sunken island.

"I want to catch every single one of them!" Zhery beamed with stars on her eyes while watching the school of Alomomola swim by.

"Hey don't get distracted! Remember, we came here for one reason!" I uttered loudly under the sea.

"Have some fun once in a while, you only live once you know." Camellia charmed.

"Fine, you can play with the Pokemons for three minutes or so..." I sighed deeply.

"30 minutes! Please!" Zhery and Camellia begged.

"Alright, thirty minutes will do. No more extensions!" I sighed deeply again.

Zhery and Camellia swam around with the water Pokemon. Which leaves us to 15 minutes left for us to find the cavern.

"Hurry up! We only have 15 minutes left. We have to find the entrance to the cave and the cave system." I uttered loudly.

Me and Glade were able to force the girls to stop playing with the corals and Pokemons. Our eyes marveled at the sunken island. Although the shape of the island is there, it's just pure sand, gravel and rocks.

There were even small pieces of jewelry on the sunken island. This means, the people living here before, were wealthy and rich! Camellia's immortal flower didn't get soggy somehow. I wonder why?

We were able to find the entrance to the cave system. It was getting darker as we dive deeper to the cave.

<Dzzz! Bzzz! Dzzz! Bzzz!>Our Scooba suits suddenly beeped.

"Great! We have ten minutes left to find the sealed hole!" I beamed sarcastically.

Yes, Riolu also had a scuba suit.

"Sorry hehe!" Camellia and Zhery uttered.

We had no choice but to hurry up and find the sealed hole.

<Carvanah!><Wailmer!>We were met by dozens of water type Pokemons as we swam through the cave.

In the deeper part of the cave, where no light is visible except for our flashlights in the scuba suit, there was a peculiar stone, it was somehow blocking something.

"Alright push!" Me and Glade pushed the stone with all our might, while Zhery and Camellia played with the Corsola.

"Hi there Corsola! Wanna come with me." Zhery smiled and begged the cute Pokemon.

"No, come with me Corsola! I can make food for you." Camellia pushed Zhery and begged at the cute Pokemon.

Corsola didn't know what was happening, so all she did was to flee the scene!

"Riolu! Use Vacuum wave!" I uttered and ordered loudly. I was shocked, when Riolu's Vacuum wave failed for some reason.

"We're underwater! There's no wind here. It's basic physics you know." Camellia explained.

"Alright then! Riolu, use force palm instead!" Riolu's force palm failed for some reason. His arm moved slowly.

"We move slower underwater! That's also part of Physics." Camellia explained.

"Hmm, what can beat this water physics?" I wondered and pondered.

<Dzzz! Bzzz!>5 minutes left on the clock before our oxygen tank runs out!

Camellia grabbed a small but long shard and tucked it in the large boulder. She pushed the shard which made the boulder move. I and Glade didn't know it was that easy.

"H... how come?" I wonder with disappointment.

"Face the truth Kalem, girls are always smarter than boys!" Zhery teased and went inside the cave system.

Water began to flow through but Camellia was able to seal off the cave with the boulder just in a nick of time.

<Dzz! Bzzz!>Oxygen tank empty.

We removed our Scuba attire, but it was still hard to breathe.

"This place has only 13% of oxygen. We'll need to breathe harder, we have no choice." Camellia explained while trying to lock the boulder tightly.

"Why do you have to lock it very tightly? We're still going out you know?" Glade queried and wonder.

"Gcck! Um... I just want to lock it. That's all." Camellia uttered with a worried and grimace smile.

I marveled at the cave system. We're not yet in the cavern quite yet, but still, this place was amazing! We heard water droplets, and our echoes were loud and clear!

The stones around us were large and moist. Camellia took some samples for her research.

"Boss, the sunken island is bellow us." Elanor reported while seating down in the plane.

"Good, prepare the submarines!" Arville commanded.

Things are starting to intensify! Team Chaos above, while we're below. What unexpected events could happen next? What shocking truths will be revealed?
