章 80: EPISODE 80: The Power Pack pokemon!
After a defeat against the World Champion, I and Riolu continues to train hard! I know that I lost a lot of battles recently, but perseverance is the hard work you do after you get tired of doing the hard work you already did. When persevering, there are only choices! Do or do not? There is no try!
As we get closer to the city, me and my Pokemons will be prepared! While traveling across the desert, we'll train hard, I want to win the league! I will win the league! I will become a league champion, then a regional champion, and lastly? A world champion! With all my passion and determination, me and my Pokemons will be undefeatable. One day, I'll defeat Arc and Krill, I'm sure of it!
Since we're on route twenty, another plan of ours was to pass through the vast Lake Knowledge! A lake filled with mysteries and clues about the past of this region. History is my favorite subject, even if I failed when I was in grade school.
The more you learn about the past, the better prepared you are for the future! Knowing something that happened in this region's history can change and warn us about the upcoming future. I wonder what secret does the lake bear?
"It looks to me that the lake is just close by!" Camellia uttered while looking at her map.
"You kept on saying that for the past five hours! We're in the world are we!?" Glade complained with a hoarse and thirsty throat as he took a sip from his water bottle.
"We're in the Silvent Desert basically speaking," I answered sarcastically.
"Where in the Silvent Desert? Specifically speaking?" Glade queried with slight frustration.
"Route Twenty of course! Where else would we be?" Zhery answered sarcastically.
"We've been here for three days! Three days!" Glade complained and uttered with slight frustration.
"Route twenty isn't called the longest route for no reason at all you know?" I teased sarcastically.
"Don't worry Glade, have patience!" Zhery comforted.
"Patience!? I have been a patient of boredom for three days." Glade knelt in disappointment.
"Then the cure to boredom is battling!" I suggested.
"Please Kalem! Enough with the battling, I'm sick of it already!" Glade begged.
"Alright, then what can cure boredom?" Camellia thought heavily.
"Maybe- ouch!" I got interrupted by a Pokemon which punched my face. I didn't see the Pokemon coming right towards me neither my friends. The Pokemon had two red gloves and looked like a teenager Groot with a purple shirt. Yes, I watched Guardians of the Galaxy.
"Kalem! Are you alright?" Camellia quickly rushed to my unconscious body.
"Hey! Who do you think you are!?" Zhery complained.
<HITMON!!!> The Pokemon screamed with determination.
"Hey! Why did you punch my trainer!?" Riolu badgered.
"Because I am power-packed!" Hitmonchan answered while doing his stances. My face began to swell because of Hitmonchan's punch.
"Punching people is wrong you know! Especially if the one you punched is our friend!" Glade complained.
<Hit! Hit!> The Pokemon tried to punch Glade but he dodged.
"Kalem, wake up! Kalem!" Camellia uttered worriedly and shook my unconscious body.
"Kalem... Snap out of it!" Riolu begged and slapped my face.
<Hitmonchan!> The Pokemon tried to punch Zhery but Glade blocked her!
"Are you alright Zhery?" Glade queried.
"Yeah... yeah... Thanks Glade." Zhery uttered with shock as her cheeks became slightly red.
"Kalem's unconscious!" Camellia uttered worriedly.
<HITMONLEE!>Another pokemon appeared out of nowhere. This Pokemon looked like an alien with a brown body and bandages in his feet and hands. Hitmonlee tried to kick my friends.
"Great, now you called your brother!" Zhery teased.
"What in the world is wrong with the both of you!? Hitmonchan punches while Hitmonlee kicks!" Glade uttered with frustration.
"Kalem! Wake up! Our friends need our help!" Camellia uttered worriedly and begged.
"Kalem... Kalem! Wake up!" RIolu begged.
"That's it, Gardevoir come on out!" Camellia took Gardevoir's Pokeball from my Pokebelt and sent out Gardevoir to help.
Gardevoir saw my unconscious body and felt worried as well.
"What happened to our trainer Riolu?" Gardevoir queried with worry.
"That power-packed Pokemon punched Kalem in the head!" Riolu pointed and explained.
"Hitmonchan!? Don't worry, I'll deal with that bastard! He'll regret hurting Kalem!" Gardevoir badgered and squinted her eyes.
Gardevoir swiftly went to Hitmonchan and chokehold Hitmonchan's neck.
"Why did you hurt my trainer!?" Gardevoir badgered.
"Cause I'm power-packed!" The Pokemon boasted.
"That is unreasonable! Tell me the reason or I'll make you faint!" Gardevoir warned.
"What yah gonna do? Blast me? Pew pew! haha!" Hitmonchan teased.
"I'm giving you one last chance to answer, if not I'll throw you across the region!" Gardevoir warned.
Hitmonchan tried to punch Gardevoir's head with his gloves but Gardevoir moved her head with swift and maximum velocity.
"I guess my punches do not work..." Hitmonchan uttered worriedly as a sweat droplet fell off his face.
"You'll regret that!" Gardevoir shouted and blasts Hitmonchan unto the sky with Psybeam!
Hitmonlee was left and he was trying to kick Zhery and Glade. Gardevoir rushed towards Hitmonlee and used Psychic on its body. Hitmonlee was able to talk but not move as Gardevoir lifts him up to the air.
"Tell me why you and your brother are causing destruction in my family!?" Gardevoir badgered.
"Cause we're bored!" Hitmonlee answered sarcastically.
"Tell me the truth or you'll meet the same fate as your brother!" Gardevoir badgered.
"Because we're power-packed pokemons! Our purpose is to punch and kick people we see!" Hitmonlee explained.
"It looks like you punch the wrong trainer!" Gardevoir badgered.
*Hitmonlee swallows he's saliva.
"Do you know who I am?"
"Y... you're Gardevoir?" Hitmonlee answered with fear.
"Do you know my purpose?"
"N... No" Hitmonlee answered with fear.
"If your purpose is to punch and kick, my purpose is to love and protect my trainer and to fight for him. Now that you've made my trainer unconscious... I have no choice but to throw you!"
"Please no! All I want is to punch and kick people"
"Your excuses are lame! That's it... Sayonara Hitmonlee!" Gardevoir teased and threw Hitmonlee to the sky.
"Phew, thanks Gardevoir," Glade uttered and gasped for air.
"Glade, Kalem is still unconscious," Zhery uttered and rushed towards Kalem with Gardevoir. Glade followed Zhery towards me.
"Camellia, how's Kalem?" Glade uttered worriedly.
"I don't know, he's breathing but not waking up." Camellia worried.
Gardevoir closed her eyes and focused her powers on me. She tried to figure out what problem lies in my head. Gardevoir was like a personal X-ray, she saw a small fracture at my skull.
"Kalem has a small fracture at his skull." Gardevoir spoke telepathically and worriedly.
"Fracture!? Zhery you want to become a doctor right?" Camellia questioned with worry.
"I want to become a doctor not a surgeon!" Zhery explained.
"But what will we do? Where in this desert can we find a nurse Joy and an Audino?" Glade questioned sarcastically.
"I don't know, but we have to treat Kalem's fracture right away," Camellia uttered worriedly.
Gardevoir went closer to my head and placed her two hands on it. Gardevoir began to close her eyes as her hands began to glow color white. Slowly by slowly, Gardevoir operated my skull. She was like a surgeon, and as time passed, my fracture disappeared.
"Agh!?" I woke up in a sudden shock.
"Kalem are you alright!?" Camellia wondered worriedly.
"Wh... What happened?" I questioned as the blur in my sight slowly disappeared.
"A Pokemon punched you in the head!" Zhery explained.
"Kalem!" Riolu jumped and hugged my body.
"Hey there bud! Oh... hey there Gardevoir." I uttered slowly and began to stand up.
Gardevoir hugged me after regaining my consciousness.
"Glad you're doing fine! Those two arrogant Pokemons are gone for good!" Zhery uttered in relief.
"Well at least Glade's boredom was solved right? haha!" I teased and laughed.
So that's how I met the power-packed Pokemons! I wasn't able to see them but hey? At least I didn't die right? The egg began to glow even brighter than usual and started to move slightly faster. Will the egg hatch tomorrow? Well that's to come as the journey continues!
