章 16: EPISODE 16: Catch that Copy Cat!
With a pen in my right hand, and a paper on my left I slowly watched Zorua eat from my bed. I was writing down facts about Zorua while observing her, so that I could know what food she likes to eat. Riolu was beside me too, looking carefully at Zorua.
"Hmmm, it looks like Zorua loves spicy poffins the most." I wrote down in the piece of paper.
I continued to observe Zorua eating the spicy poffins, and afterward, Zorua did a nice stretch! she went up the bed and started to take a nice nap beside me and Riolu.
"So Zorua loves to take naps!" I wrote down in the piece of paper.
Riolu was curious about Zorua's red hair, so without thinking, Riolu touched Zorua's hair. Zorua woke up looking furious and frustrated, her eyes turned red just like the blood moon, and did a tackle on Riolu.
I laughed at Riolu, "You deserve that for waking people up all the time!" Zorua became calm and went back to sleep. I wrote in the paper, that Zorua hates to be disturbed when it sleeps.
Me and Riolu started to fall asleep slowly by slowly, "I... I'll sleep for a while, I just need a power nap" I said sleepily.
But that sleep took too long! We slept for almost two hours! If it weren't for Zorua, we would wake up later!
Zorua loves to stay on top of my cap, this bothers Riolu so much because Riolu wants to be the only one in my body.
"Why don't you walk, for now, its Zorua's turn anyways."
"Fine Kalem, but tomorrow I'll be at your arm promise?"
"Yes Riolu..."
While we were on our way to the garden downstairs I met Zhery and Glade again.
"So how's Zorua?" Glade queried.
"Zorua's fine, she loves spicy food and he loves to sleep!" I explained.
"Then... Based on those data, we could conclude that Zorua has a lax and serious nature" Zhery concurred.
Zorua jumped off my head, then transformed itself into Zhery! The three of us were surprised and amazed, we remembered that Zorua has the power to shapeshift to both people and Pokemon!
"Woah! Zorua looks exactly like me!" Zhery sputtered.
Zorua then turned into Glade, Glade was amused!
"How could a Pokemon possess such power?" Glade wondered softly.
Zorua turned into Riolu, but Riolu was offended.
"Hey! Don't copy my looks!" Riolu badgered.
Zorua laughed at Riolu then ran down the stairs!
"No Zorua!" I shouted.
"Quick, we have to chase Zorua before it wanders somewhere it's not suppose to be!" Glade dictated.
"But how can we know which one is Zorua, she's not like ditto which has dots as eyes. Zorua is very different. She can transform into both people and Pokemon! How could we know which one's the true Zorua?" Zhery puzzled.
"We'll think of a plan later, for now let's just hurry downstairs!" I baffled.
Zorua! Zorua! The three of us shouted as we looked for Zorua.
"That Zorua is really mischievous!" Zhery battered.
"Well, that's why its called the tricky fox Pokemon right?" I asked.
Moments later, we saw two Meowths staring at each other, the other one looked scared though, meaning the Meowth which is not scared is Zorua.
"Zorua! Transform yourself back, I know your one of the Meowths!" I shouted.
Zorua transformed back and laughed. She began to run and transform again!
"Grrrr..." I was starting to lose my cool.
"So you want to play hide and seek, fine then! We'll find you Zorua! We'll find you!" I shouted out to the public.
"Kalem! Don't shout to the public! Everyone can hear you are not so convincing speech!" Zhery teased.
"Why do you always tease me Zhery?"
"Because its fun to tease you! Is there a problem with that?" Zhery laughed.
"Hey you two, stop chattering and start searching!" Glade ordered.
"Zorua! Zorua! Show yourself!" I shouted.
"Come on Zorua! Just give up already!" Zhery shouted.
"Guys look! There are two Squirtles!" Zhery observed.
"Riolu you know what to do!" Riolu jumped off my elbow and asked the two Squirtles.
"Hey Squirtles! which one of you is the copy cat?"

The other Squirtle didn't talk, but laughed and transformed back into Zorua, but... Zorua does not give up, she ran again.
"Get back here Zorua!" I called.
"Kalem, Kalem, I know how to determine which one is Zorua!"
"So how Riolu?"
"Zorua can't imitate the voice of the Pokemon she copied!" Riolu explained.
"You are right! That's why the other Meowth was scared, because the Meowth Zorua transformed into can't imitate the voice of an original Meowth!" I understood what Riolu was trying to say.
"So, Kalem, have you initiated a plan already?" Glade questioned.
"Yup, Zorua can't imitate the voice of the Pokemon she copied whi-"
"This means, all we have to do is to find the odd one out! Meaning to say we have to find the Pokemon which cannot imitate the voice of the other Pokemon!" Zhery interrupted.
"You stole my line!" I complained.
"Hee hee hee" Zhery laughed.
"Look at those two Seedots!" Glade pointed.
"One of them is Zorua for sure!" I assumed.
Seed Seedot! It seemed like the two Seedots are fighting!
"Aha! Gotcha Zorua!", I grabbed the Seedot that wasn't talking. Zorua transformed back into its original form but transformed again into Riolu.
Then Zorua pushed Riolu which caused both of them to be shuffled!
"Alright, one of you I can understand, now talk!" I ordered.
"Kalem im the real Riolu!"
"Oh yeah! Kalem has a Pokè thingy which translates the words of Pokemon!" Zhery recalled.
"Its called a Pokètrans gem!" I told her.
"Kalem! Zorua's running again!"
"I guess we have to battle it Riolu! Riolu use a quick attack on Zorua!"
Riolu did use Quick attack and was able to catch up with the mischievous Pokemon. Meanwhile, the three of us followed Riolu.
"Stop running Zorua!"
"You can't catch me Riolu! Hee hee hee!"
Zorua ran faster.
The kids around us were staring at us.
"What are they chasing?" One of the kids questioned.
Riolu was able to catch up with Zorua.
"Whose slow now copy cat?"
Zorua ran faster and surpassed Riolu.
"What was that again? Slowbro! Hee hee hee"
Riolu got angry and ran even faster, but the three were so tired of chasing Riolu and Zorua. I, Zhery and Glade couldn't keep up.
"W... wait up!" Glade said, as we stopped to gasp for air.
"Ah-ha, I'm ahead of you now! copy cat!"
"Watch where you are going! Hee hee hee" Zorua stopped running as Riolu surpassed Zorua he didn't see the tree ahead of him.
"Ouch... My head!" Riolu complained.
"There you are Zorua, return!" Zorua returned to its Pokèball. But the three of us dropped dead because of that long chase!
"We finally caught that copy cat!" Zhery said in relief.
"Now I can finally rest! I'm tired from all this running!" Glade complained.
Back at my room, after resting with Glade and Zhery, I got another piece of Pokètrans gem in the box my mother gave. I Released Zorua out of her Pokèball. I tied the Pokètrans gem at Zorua's neck.
"Don't do such thing again Zorua!" I ordered.
"Hee hee hee, I'm sorry Kalem... I just wanted to play with you!" Zorua explained.
"Yes, you can play but not in a reckless manner!" I badgered.
"Fine..." Zorua said solemnly.
"Alright, let's go to the dining hall to eat dinner Riolu and Zorua!"
Both of them smiled at me, it seems that the chase made them both tired and their stomachs empty.
"Alright let's go down, but Zorua, don't run off again ok!"
"Understood!" Zorua smiled at me as she jumped on my cap again.
