章 2: Beautiful Young Lady
Fifteen years later.
The princess was now an attractive young lady. As Rafael was the CEO of MD corporation which exported gold and jewellery, she became the Young Miss from an elite family. Her public name was Zheng Xiujing instead of Krystal Vamp (V.) Fradinight. Zheng Xiujing was truly genius since she studied at the Shizijia school in China now. It was the best school in China where all clever children were studying. Zheng Xiujing was more mature and thoughtful compared to other children at her age.
"Young Miss, are you sure about this?" Rachael started to be worried.
"Shizijia was a boarding high school. I can live by myself. You don't need to follow me there." Zheng Xiujing was packing her stuff into her luggage.
"Young Miss, please reconsider. You should continue studying at Beijing academy…"
"No. It's too boring there."
"Boring?" Zheng Xiujing nodded.
Beijing academy was so-so to her. Everything was fine. However, she needed something more challenging in her life. Therefore, leaving home to live by herself was the best option she could think of. New friends and new environment. How exciting!
"Then make sure you eat every meal on time. If you let yourself hungry, you'll be thirsty for human blood. You can't let anyone know about your identity."
"Alright, I know."
Although vampires like to drink blood, they can eat normal foods. Only blood will give them more energy and power recovery. And blood was also tastier than human foods.
"If you're thirsty, don't forget to control yourself and hide your cute little fangs!"
"Hey! I'm not a kid anymore, okay? I know what to do."
Before Rachael could continue inculcating her Young Miss a little more, Tylor came into the room with the baby crimson phoenix in the golden cage.
"It seems your new school was allowed students to have a pet. So, I brought this baby phoenix for you, Young Miss, in case you're lonely living alone."
"It's beautiful. Thank you, Tylor. I'll call it 'Felix'. Wait, Is it a male?"
"It is. Should we go now? The car is ready."
"Yes. Let's go."
A few hours later, they arrived at the Shizijia school. The sun was shining bright in the middle of the sky because it was 11 A.M. now. Tylor coming out of the car carried the thick black umbrella and opened the car's door for Young Miss.
"Sigh. It's freaking hot out there. I feel like I'm about to melt." Zheng Xiujing hated the day time since it was too hot for her and sunlight could weaken her power and energy.
"Let's go inside the building." Tylor smiled. He knew that his Young Miss hated walking under sunlight.
There were 3 dormitories for Shizijia students. The A dormitory where only A class students could live was divided into two main zones. One was for boy students, the other was for girl students. All students living here could choose whether they wanted to live alone or find some roommates, at most 4 people per room. Zheng Xiujing decided to live alone because her real identity must be kept as a secret. And her personality was more introvert than extrovert. As soon as she came into the building, about 5 maids were coming out to greet her.
"Good morning, young lady. Outsiders aren't permitted to go inside further. We'll help you carry your luggage to your room."
"Thank you. Tylor, you can go now. Please give my regards to everyone at home."
"Understood. Please take care of yourself."
While Zheng Xiujing followed the maids carrying her luggage to her room, some students were peeping at her, the new coming student.
"Wow! What a real beauty. Which class is she studying?" A boy asked his friend.
"I don't know. Did you see the cage she is carrying? Is that a phoenix? She must be rich."
"Do you know her name? Is she studying in the 2-A class like us?" A girl asked her group.
"I'm not sure. Four new students are joining us this semester."
"She must be a beautiful young lady from a wealthy family. Will she mind living with commoners like us?"
"I hate rich and good-looking people! Their temper is a real nightmare. Just look at Liu Xiaolin. She's such a drama queen."
"I hope this one wasn't like Liu Xiaolin."
