The big doors pulled open, alerting everyone eating and forcing them to a stop as they turned their heads in the direction of the door.

To their amazement, a young-looking man, fair to gaze on but having an unnatural hair colour waded his way over to the table, stopping right in front of it.

All the while, he had his head lowered so neither of them knew who he was but surprisingly Blade had his hand clenched at his side while he waited.

Sensing the unusual energy emanating from Blade, Astrid reached through her mind link. 

Lately, she found it was easier to communicate with him in her mind than it ever was before and she took hold of the opportunity each time, making it their secret means of communication.

"Blade. What is the matter?" She inquired before the messenger pried his lips to greet.

"He… He is here," Blade breathed out in his mind.

"He? Who?" 

"Him."
