章 2: Question Time.
Carson tilted his head at her which she took as a sign to pet his head but he wasn't some pet so he quickly moved his head away from her hand and growled at her, "I'm not some pet." His voice thick with the threat he would kill her if she tried again. Alice didn't even take it to heart and just smiled at him hugging his body she always wanted to hug a wolf but the rest all tried to kill her when she tried so she was going to do it until he told her to stop.
Carson's wolf form had Silver fur with hits of green, his eyes glowed golden and blue making him look enchanting he was nothing like any other wolf around, his Alpha aura also kept anyone back he didn't accept. In the back he could see that it was taking everything in Sam not to bend his knee to him so he was keeping his distance, the only reason Alice could be so close is because he would only allow a woman to touch him in any form.
Carson was way bigger than normal wolfs where they stood at six foot her was nearly seven so he towered over the rest, because of this he had to bend down in order for Alice to be able to hold his head but he didn't mind. In the next moment like an arm movement he was able to move a bed of of grass beneath him using his control over plants, everyone was shocked but until he was comfortable he wasn't going to answer any questions. Lying down he got comfortable with Alice laying in his side like it was her spot.
"Ask any questions you want but I will get one for each you ask." Carson said already deciding this was going to be his new spot, he already knew they were in wolf territory but the wolfs could do nothing about Alice and Jasper since he was there.
"Who are you?" Alice asked first rubbing her face in her fur, he didn't smell like a wet dog like the rest of the wolfs instead he smelled like the rain which was pleasing.
"I'm Carson Winters just moved here with my family last week from Texas, I was going on a walk and fainted that is how I ended up where I did." He said looking out at the still raging water that was calming down since he was using most his concentration to stop it. "My turn," he said looking at her when he was done, "Who are you and that guy? And what are you?" He wasn't suppose to know so he might as well ask all he can now.
"I'm Alice Cullen and that is my Friend/Brother Jasper Cullen we are vampires." She said.
Carson was a little surprised he thought it was like the books and movies and they were together but since she just introduced him as a friend, looks like he would have to ask to know more about this world since some of it has changed.
"What type of wolf are you? Why are those dogs over there afraid of you?" She asked next stroking him which he couldn't say wasn't enjoyable.
"I'm a immortal alpha wolf who stands above other wolfs." Carson said like it was the most natural thing in the world but everyone else was shocked and could only stare at him.
It was Sam who broke the tension asking a question with hidden excitement in his voice, "Wait your immortal? How did you do it? Can we become one? And why can you control nature." He could hardly contain himself.
Carson looked at him like he was a strange creature since he couldn't come right out and say it he decided to mess with him, "What do you mean how did I become this way aren't you an immortal too? Is your bloodline so weak that you aren't?"
Alice giggles looking between the two especially when Sam and the other wolf put their heads down in shame. Of course Carson didn't know that what he said was true other than him there were exactly six immortal wolfs in the world he was the strongest but the others bloodline were strong and pure enough to keep them immortal while Sams clan was way weaker.
(Yeah guys that's right over the next couple of books he will meet them don't worry that is basically all the changes I will make to the story.... or is it?)
Carson looked at Alice stifling a laugh he decided to mess with her too, "Quite vampire your no better you skin is cold and you are pale and don't you die in the sunlight?"
Alice was momentarily startled but realizing that he didn't know all the facts about their race she just gave a sly grin and continued to rub in closer to him, it wasn't a like a romantic thing she just loved the way he felt. Carson also didn't mind her there if there was one person he wanted to be close to it was her because she was the most approachable out of everyone so why not.
When Sam noticed that he was ignored he decided to ask the question on everyone's mind right now, "Who do you side with those blood suckers or are you going to side with us?"
Carson who was enjoying Alice's rubbing her hands through his fur was upset when she stopped because she heard Sams words which made him release his overbearing aura on Sam, "Listen here little dog I'm neutral who I side with is none of your business, but just so you know it's neither you can count me as a neutral faction. And Alice don't take his words to heart even if you are a vampire I will still be friends with you I don't care if you drink peoples blood."
Alice was surprised but happy, "Don't worry Carson I don't drink human blood we drink animal blood."
He nodded his head and went back to enjoying the feeling of her running her hands through his fur, it had been awhile since he actually talked to anyone other than his financial manger so he was enjoying this. They had already been here for about two hours and it was time for Bella to show up in Forks and since Carson wanted to be as close to the plot as possible he was going to friend her.
Without warning he took of towards the road leading into Forks making it in time to see from the tree lines her and her dad pulling pst the Forks, Washington sign, he grinned when Alice still followed him everyone else took off but they watched her enter. 'The plot begins' he muttered in his mind before licking Alices face taking off this time she didn't follow sensing he wanted to be alone.
Of course he didn't go and meet up with Bella or anything no instead he got close to his house where the edge of the tree line was and changed back into his human form now in just tattered jeans that he was wearing he was going to have to think carefully about what he wore. To not let his parents be alarmed he went in through his upstairs window jumping in gracefully, he immediately went to change his clothes going with an old black leather jacket, orange plain shirt, black skinny jeans and black hiking boots that brought it all together.
Afterwards he walked downstairs meeting his parents who were getting ready to head to the diner for work, "Finally Carson.... wait when did you get back?" His dad asked.
"Never mind that come on we need to get to the diner. Carson are you going with us today?" His mother asked grabbing her keys while walking to the door.
"Sure why not I don't have anything better to do." Because of his dad's influence he didn't have to start school until tomorrow same time Bella would so he was enjoying this week off for school at least the past him was.
