章 22: A Stutter
I had to write another name, but whose?
I thought for a while, and assessed the situation. Whoever, I was going to give the death note to, would be nearby. In that case, it would be alright to kill someone around town.
The name I had decided to write down, was the school janitors. The school janitor had a heart disease two months back, which made it understandable if he died because of a heart attack. I was about to write his name on the page, when all of a sudden, I stopped.
Why was I writing names? Was there really a necessity to become a God? The responsibilities, the effort, why was I working so hard? It's just another concept. I could kill anyone on a whim, but I had no motivation to do so. Becoming God, really wasn't all that interesting. Honestly, living life normally would be better than this.
I sighed for a moment, and decided to write down one more name.
'Kanashi Sato'
It was boring sitting all alone in this world, while the world stood unknown. There was no one who could defy me. With the boredom that I faced, I put the death note inside my cupboard to watch the temporary mayhem unfold. Self reflecting on myself, really struck me hard. All the power in the world became meaningless, in front of my thought. However, even in such a situation, I just wasn't satisfied.
I decided to put aside the death note for a month to be the man I always wanted to be; my true self.

APOPHIS
APOPHIS 1. I get that his emotions shift rapidly, but that's just how he is. He's an intelligent, emotion shifting machine, that'll crack the algorithm of the death note, and eventually, his life.
2.This is a huge turning point in the series. I had three ideas in mind, but I decided to use this one, to build on Kira's characteristics further.
