章 607: Beaten

She ran toward Lu Xingzhi as fast as she could without care and hugged him tightly.

"What on earth-"

Lu Xingzhi was solidly frightened. He came out of the tent only to be jumped on by someone else. The impact of the collision shoved him a few steps back while the culprit seemed to not realize it and kept nuzzling his chest.

Instinctively, he was about to kick the person, no matter the gender, away. Luckily, he saw who she was and stopped his swing just in time.

"Yaoyao?" Lu Xingzhi smiled resignedly and patted her head. She did not care if he was filthy and kept rubbing her face on his clothes.

The initial shock was followed by the joy of reunion and then came the concern and worry.
