章 209: The Bitter Reality (1)

I could only let his words sink into my mind. Did he really not care about being so weak? 

I knew for a fact that others, including myself, would go crazy if they were to just lose their powers without a reason or rhyme. And yet, here he was dancing through the night as if we were only discussing the weather. 

"You should care about it." It took me a couple of seconds to come up with a reply. "Because there's no way that it's natural." I shared my doubts with him which had been bugging me for some time now. 

"What are you trying to say?" He sounded confused. He had every reason to be. 

"Come with me." I pulled myself back from his arms, reluctantly so. "Let's sit for a while." Not waiting for his reply, I grabbed his arm and pulled him towards one end of the fire circle. 

"What are u doing?" He questioned me as he saw me walk through the burning flames to the other side, his hand slipping through my grasp
