Giving her one last look, I made my way towards the door. Though it wasn't just her who needed some rest, I didn't want to make her feel any awkward just from staying back. I wanted her to rest well. She needed it more than me. 

I pulled the door knob and shut the door on my way out. It wasn't just worry which was lingering in the folds on my mind, but it was coupled with curiosity. The curiosity which could only be satiated by her. I knew that she was hiding something from me, but what it was, only she could answer that. Though I had my own suspicions, I was trying my best to keep them at bay. 

'How long are you going to keep me waiting, little foxy?' I thought to myself.

The pain from earlier was too much for my body to handle that my mind couldn't help but become hazy. My thoughts were clouded and everything around me seemed to be happening in slow motion, which included Amara's reaction to it.
