章 240: A Chef as Her Boyfriend

On Saturday morning, Gu Xin Ye woke up early in the morning to head over to Qin Zhan's apartment to learn how to prepare some dessert.

Initially, Gu Xin Ye planned to drive over to Qin Zhan's place. However, Qin Zhan had suggested to pick her up. He told her that he was on his way out to buy some ingredients anyway. Therefore, it wouldn't be too troublesome for him to pick her up.

After a brief hesitation, Gu Xin Ye finally gave Qin Zhan her address.

Gu Xin Ye did not have to wait for too long before Qin Zhan arrived at the entrance to her apartment. She swept her gaze around the area before going to Qin Zhan's car.

As soon as she shut the door, Gu Xin Ye heaved a breath of relief. Then, she realized that Qin Zhan had been watching her. Heat crept to her face when she saw him smiling at her.

"Why are you so anxious?" Qin Zhan chuckled. "Afraid that someone is going to see you with me?"

Gu Xin Ye coughed. "No. It's just a habit."
