'By biggest flex is saying that I have no regrets in using my connections and spending my time on Ashlyn!' She thought.

"Nice to meet you Mr.Marie." Ashlyn extended her hand to greet him. "It's a pleasure to meet you Ms.Diaz." He shook her hand with a bright smile. "Please call me Fabian. I'm looking forward to having a friendship with you."

'Level 7?' Ashlyn was a bit shocked. 'Him too? No way! There are more people like me in the industry? Usually, they show more interest in STEM-related professions.....' She thought happily.

As awesome as it might be to have amazing abilities, the downside is that you are judge when you choose abnormal careers to present yourself to the outside world. Being an actress is something not many do and those who do are usually of low levels.

Her mom might come from a powerful family but her level was barely a 3. Even if you come from a family of talents that have levels higher then 6 that doesn't mean everyone will be born like that.

With a lot of training, levels can become higher but that is super hard. Ashlyn herself was born weak but she had the potential of being a higher level, but her greatest ability is learning really fast so as she grew up and became curious about her abilities. She learned to control them and she rose to level 7 quickly.

"Okay! Call me Ashlyn then, I'm also looking forward to a happy friendship." She smiled. He referred to her as 'Ms. Diaz' which means he could sense the bond had been broken.

"Great! I actually had the pleasure of meeting your mother so I feel honored to also meet her daughter! Come over let's have a chat while your manager talks with the director." He told her cheerfully.

Ashlyn said goodbye to Li Zi and followed him to a table where two chairs were placed.

"Ashlyn, your aura is overflowing. It's surrounding your body. I can barely breathe in your presence right now. There is a thick red layer of smoke around you." He informed her.

Ashlyn pressed her lips together at his words. She was quite shocked. "Thankfully it's not bloodlust and it only affects us the 'special' ones. Common humans would be dead if they felt your bloodlust. We need to get this treated as soon as possible!" He warned her.

"I'm sorry. I thought I had full control of it." She furrowed her eyebrows and tried to suppress something inside her heart. No wonder she felt so free and light earlier. Turns out her power has been surrounding her body all along!

Although it protects her well like a shield it's still dangerous. Those who have the ability to steal 'energy' might approach her and take even half of it!

That would make her drop to level four or lower!!!

"That's terrifying haha how 'fun'" She swallowed.

"*Sigh* Thankfully I was a good friend of your mother so I won't harm you in any way." Fabian took a deep breath.

'Oh, so he has the ability to steal the energy around me. No wonder he noticed so quickly.'

"For now let's handle the interview. We can talk about other things afterward." He sighed. "Of course!" Ashlyn replied.

She didn't voice out her doubts about him being friends with her mother. After all, she had always known who her mother is close to.

'Weird but I'll see what he's up to first.'

"About the audition you mentioned, is it possible that we can stream it and get my reaction? I'm sure we can get on the public's good side if the audition is as good as you said." Fabian pointed out to Li Zi.

"We would have to get permission from the director first. Is it possible though? Wouldn't it show that we are already thinking that she will get the role?" Li Zi asked.

"No, not at all! Since she has yet to be recognized as an actress I want to know of her abilities so that I and the audience together can wonder how far she will go. That's my objective with this idea." He explained himself.

"It's up to you. Should we ask the director?" Li Zi asked her. She wanted to make sure that Ashlyn is comfortable with it because she's up for the idea. It would surely help everyone see just how talented Ashlyn really is!

"Sure!"

"Okay so just act natural with me. I want things to be easy and simple. There isn't much into it. I will also not intrude on your privacy with questions concerning your love life or your family problems since that is not what will help you in your career right now. Instead, try to avoid answering such questions for now." Fabian gave her some quick advice and they sat down in two high chairs placed in front of the pool.

The pool was decorated beautifully and there were lights surrounding it. The scenery gave a calming vibe and it was perfect for the interview Fabian would conduct. That is why he had chosen the place.

"Welcome back everyone today's interview is a bit special and I will tell you all why. Right next to me is none other than the daughter of an old friend of mine. But that's beside the point. This young lady has just stepped foot into the entertainment industry and she is already becoming popular as we speak.

Allow me to present to you, Ashlyn Diaz!" After the short introduction, Fabian got straight to the point and his questions started.

The screen displayed the cover of the novel and a slideshow played repeatedly behind them.

"I hear you just auditioned for the movie coming out soon that's based one a hit novel! The director is known for being very strict and the author himself was also there for the audition. What made you come and audition for them instead of any other script?" He asked.

Ashlyn smiled and she crossed her legs looking directly at the camera and then back at him. She relaxed the muscles in her face and softened her expression. She looked beautiful under the moodlight and the small lights decorating the place behind them. The person watching her in the tv could not be more proud and mesmerized by her.

He was truly charmed by her.

"Let's just say I was looking for something challenging. I wanted to find a script that would help me develop my acting skills more. A script that could inspire me to improve. At first, I did choose it just because of that but as I finished reading the whole script I realized I really enjoyed it. I seriously believe the novel deserves the hype it has. It is an amazing story." Ashlyn stated her purpose for choosing the script and her feelings for the script and she even praised the author for creating the amazing script.

Her words weren't a lie. She really enjoyed reading the novel and she was excited about playing Elna. She was confident in her performance in the audition but she would have to wait for the results.

"Do you have a character that you especially like?" Fabian asked. 'Hmm, tricky question.'

People in the media can misunderstand her words easily. If she said it's the main character the one she auditioned for, it could also be seen as her yearning for the role openingly. She had to be careful with everything she would say. Newbies like her are always criticized for everything even if it's something stupid.

"I don't think I have one. Every character played a very important part in the script and if any of them went missing I don't think I would have enjoyed the story as much as I did." She answered looking at Fabian with a smile.

"I agree with you on that. I myself also read the novel and I secretly.....We'll I'm already revealing it so I guess it won't be a secret for much longer." He laughed and she joined him too.
