章 89: Too complicated to escape

"Mia is not getting married!"

 Mia raised her head when she heard Varell say those words firmly as if he was saying it with all his heart.

 Hearing Varell's words make Ardi look even more angry, he then walked up to Varell, "Who are you?" Ardi's sharp gaze might kill a flying bird but Varell didn't flinch, he then pulled Mia to his side.

 "I am her boyfriend! She will only marry me."

 Tears fell again when Mia heard those words, Varell gripped Mia's shoulders tightly and made her feel Varell's confidence.

 Even though he knew Varell was probably just trying to protect him but it was enough to make Mia's heart tremble.

 "Who are you to marry my daughter? A man from the countryside who has nothing, don't dream of getting my daughter!" Ardi said firmly, he insulted Varell who he saw was just a simple man from the countryside.
