章 188: The rescue

Li Chen prayed for the continuous gunshots to stop or he feared his eardrum was going to get damaged... if he didn't end up being killed tonight.

He had been going with the unconscious Tom to the place Lisa had asked them to go to, when they were suddenly 'ambushed'. A car blocking his way ahead, another behind him and another beside his car. There was no way he could have escaped and before he knew it, everything else blacked out. When he woke up, he found himself locked inside a small room with his hands cuffed behind him and his mouth, taped.

He didn't know who kidnapped them or where Tom was currently held but he could only pray and hope that Tom was okay and also pray he survived the bullets spraying everywhere. Also, he hoped that whoever was exchanging bullets with them outside was there to rescue him.
