She was running, she didn't know why she was running, but she kept placing one leg in front of the other disregarding the protest coming from her young muscles,

 "Jaz keep running, don't stop" Her sister, Lin Zoe urged from behind when her pace reduced. Jasmine stopped running and turned around when she heard Zoe's voice but Zoe wasn't there.

She heard the sound of a gunshot but as she was about turning back to continue running, she felt a hand tapping her shoulders as she woke up from her nightmare. 

"Mother?" Little Jasmine mumbled while rubbing her eyes sleepily,
