"But seriously, Grace, I really don't think I should be there," Ann complained after being silent for a long time as the driver drove her and Grace to Chairman Wang's house that evening.

"Why didn't you tell that to Melanie when she invited you herself?" Grace asked with a scoff.

They had been at her office earlier when Melanie's call had come in. She had even asked if Ann was there with Grace before going on to invite them both for dinner. 

"I still feel she was merely being polite because she knew I was there with you," Ann insisted. 

"Just admit it that you're scared of seeing TJ," Grace said with a teasing smile. 

"TJ?" Ann asked with a frown, even though she knew Grace meant Tae-Joon.

"Yep. Short for Tae-Joon," Grace said.

"I know that. I'm just wondering when you both became that close," Ann said with a snort.
