章 29: Still feels home
6 minutes. Reese only has 6 minutes to find the drink inside that villa.
The moonlight served as Reese's guide inside the dark villa. The villa she used to live in, the villa she first felt home.
Her hands turned into fists, she closed her eyes and started running her way inside the villa without even opening her eyes. The only place she knew where the synthetic blood was, was the room she used to occupy.
Reese stopped in front of the room she used to occupy, she slowly opened her eyes and the place was really dark, there were no signs of light or anything but it was fine for Reese.
She touched the doorknob and before she could open the door, she looked at the place once.
A bitter smile crept on her lips, from the very moment she looked around, everything she used to do inside this villa flashbacked.
Reese gulped as she opened the room she used to occupy, from where she was standing, she could clearly see that the things she used to have were still there. Everything was still in its place before she left this room empty.
Reese immediately went towards her mini fridge and opened it, from there on she saw the synthetic blood inside it. The things she has inside this room was never touched, it felt like it was fixed regularly.
Reese missed Miss Ann and Butler Mo, they were like a family to her. They treated her like she was someone important.
Without wasting any more minutes, Reese took the fridge and carried it as if it was not heavy. She immediately made her way to her car which was parked a bit far from where the villa is.
It would be safe if she did it. But, the villa felt so empty.
Of course, who would stay at the same place that she used to stay in? Severus was probably angry at her, for what she did before she disappeared. Dinumihan ni Reese ang pangalan ng pamilya ni Severus, she did murder people when she was still confused with her identity.

Hindi rin maiwasan na maisip ni Reese sa loob ng apat na taon na ---- papaano kung hindi nangyari sa kaniya ang ganitong sitwasyon? What if she was never a vampire? Will she still be married to Severus? Would she be able to reach her dream?
There's so many what if's in Reese's mind for the past four years of doubts and regrets, Reese has never been able to live happily. All she wanted was to be happy, yet the cycle goes on and everything seemed to be so wretched.
The emptiness that Reese felt since day one, came back that day she ran away from the city. The only place where she felt happiness and care was inside that villa. The only place she felt safe and loved.
The people she used to be involved with were now gone, the moment she went back there it felt really, really empty.
"Hey."
Kaagad na napalingon si Reese sa likod niya at nakaramdam siya ng kaba dahil sa biglaang pagsulpot ng kung sino sa likod niya.
Nawala ang kaba niya nang makita na si Kier lamang iyon. She closed the car's door and she faced Kier with her hands jammed on her pockets.
"What are you doing here, Kier?" Seryosong tanong ni Reese habang patago na pinakakalma ang sarili.
"I'm sorry, I followed you. I was worried." Saad ni Kier at napatingin sa mini fridge na nasa likod ng kotse, "So, you got the synthetic blood. Where did you get them?"
Dahan-dahan na napatingin si Reese kay Kier at hindi niya alam kung sasabihin niya kung saan niya nakuha ang mga ito. Above all the people in her clan, only Kier knows where she came from. The people in her clan don't know that she was raised by humans and she once married a human before she was aware that she was a vampire.
The fact that her mother was a human, her father hid her mother's identity, fooling his people that her mother was a vampire. They believed that she's a full blooded vampire when she's not.
Napayuko si Reese bago niya sinagot si Kier. "I got the drink from the villa. The ones I used to own." Sagot ni Reese at bumuntong hininga, "These were the last supply, they already stopped producing the drink because I was already gone."
"Villa… Lim family's villa…? The villa where you used to ---"
"To live with him." Pagtuloy ni Reese at binuksan pintuan ng kotse niya sa driver's seat.
She went inside without looking back at Kier. Kier also went inside the car and Reese did not waste any minute, so she started the car's engine.
From the moment she started the engine, she knew she wouldn't be coming back.
