章 3: The journey is starting!

It has been 18 years since Gol.D.Roger death only 2 more years til Luffy emerged. August decided to hide his name as he doesn't want to sully the name his parents give him because he knew if he becomes strong than the W.G will either invite him to become their dog or put a bounty poster on his head.

PS : W.G stands for world government for those who doesn't know or confuse about it.

August decided to use his old name Shin because it's actually not that bad of a name and he thought that it will be quite imposing and fun when people heard the name Shin and started to get scared.

August arrived at the harbor of the island called zik island that is located in East blue.

As he stepped forward on the island he knew that it will be a thought journey.

ps: The islands is also fan made so no need to wonder about it too much

The zik island is an island that is famous for fisherman to sold their fish . The fisherman that give August a ride name was Cordon, he was also one of the people that love to pamper August when he was little. when he heard that August want to explore the world even he was reluctant to let August go because he knew how cruel the outside world is. But seeing as August want to be a true man that seek adventure he knew he shouldn't stop him in fact he even want to give him something that he knew is extremely valuable and rare but he also knew that this might be dangerous as well for August.

Cordon then call for August that is currently mesmerize by the new thing he seeing. Upon hearing Cordon call August then immediately come back to meet him.

August then ask "what is it uncle Cordon?"

Cordon took a deep breath and then say

" August is seen you grown since you are kid,

I and my wife think of you as our own child as well because we are unable to get any children.I found this inside a cave around our island when I was young and have been keeping it since then. August the world is though out there. me and my wife already think this through and we want you to have this. If you wish to use this then you may but if you don't you can just simply sold it for a large sum of money."

Cordon said this while handing over an old box to August with a bit tears in his eyes.

Upon seeing this August can only say thank you and just accept his gift because he knew that Cordon want him to have the old box even if he need to beg him to take it.

After finishing their goodbyes August start to head towards the town of zik island because it's starting to get dark so he want to spend the night in zik first before heading to a bigger island the next day.
