Yeona could literally hear her heart beating faster. It was as if everything turned mute except for the pounding inside her chest. Her hands turned cold and her forehead formed droplets of sweat. 

Apparently, Iseul overheard their conversation; her declaration towards liking him and the possibility of him being a... playboy. 

Her mouth fell agape and unable to speak for seconds. She took three steps back and cleared her throat. She said, "Well, since you heard of our conversation. You know very well I was just throwing back May's words! Huh!"

She let out a sigh and said, "I - I don't need to explain myself!"

Yeona quickly shut the door close, slamming it in front of Iseul. For a moment, she knocked on the door with her forehead. When she realized how she was being impulsive, she opened it again.
