After putting Jared through a hell of mental torture, it was now his assistant's turn. The man looked petrified, and the moment he saw the three people enter the room, he sprang to his feet in fear. He did not have the same confidence and boldness Valerie had seen in Jared's previous assistant, and she wondered why Jared had even chosen him in the first place.

"Why have you brought me here? What did I do wrong?" He questioned, holding onto his courage that kept slipping away every once in a while.

Though Valerie already had the evidence that could send Jared and his men to the execution chair for good, she still had a few matters to find out which Maggie had been unable to during her stay at Jared's gang. All Valerie wanted was the man who had killed her father, for she wanted to kill him herself instead of pushing him towards the execution chair.
