Wade opened his eyes, and everything around him seemed to change in the blink of an eye. One moment, he was in a dark room, and the next—he found himself in a roadside alley, like something out of a movie, with the distinctive buzz of New York City in the background. Concrete walls adorned with graffiti surrounded him, and the air was humid, as it often is in the summer in the city. Wade looked at himself. He was still wearing a black T-shirt and jeans—exactly what he had on before... well, before what? Before death? His head was still buzzing with questions, yet his body seemed to move automatically.
He scanned his surroundings, searching for some point of reference. The concrete jungle before him was exactly as he knew it from films and TV shows. Skyscrapers reached for the sky, and somewhere in the distance, above the city, he spotted the gleaming spire of the Avengers building. "Seriously? So this is Marvel..." he thought. This was no promotional film or illusion. Wade knew this city too well from the screens to be mistaken. And since he was here, he needed the system he had requested earlier.
"System, activate." His voice echoed in the alley, but only silence answered him.
For a long moment, nothing happened; only a breeze cut through the narrow streets between the buildings. Wade waited with the patience that life had taught him. He waited. Seconds passed, then minutes. Until finally...
[Host found. Connecting to the host's soul.]
"Well, finally," he muttered under his breath, hearing the cool, mechanical voice. He was ready. For anything.
[Connection established. Welcome to the All for One System.]
[Welcome, Host.]
"Great," Wade said, straightening up. He looked around the area one more time and headed towards the park he had spotted between the buildings. He needed a place where he could sit and gather his thoughts.
When he reached a small square, he sat on a bench. The surroundings were quiet for New York, but people bustled about, ignoring him. It was one of those moments when he felt invisible. He took a deep breath.
"System, what do you have to offer me? What options?" he asked, awaiting a response.
[Options available in the All for One System:]
Status – Statistics, skills, data.
Lottery – Collection of rewards, required tickets.
Equipment – Item storage, capacity: unlimited.
Missions – Tasks.
"Okay, let's start with the status," he said, settling more comfortably on the bench. "Let's see what I'm starting with."

Wade rubbed his face with his hand, furrowing his brows.
"Seriously? I'm weaker than the average guy?" he spat in irritation. "No power, and my only skill is running."
He gritted his teeth. He knew he had a long road ahead of him, but this was a bit too little for his expectations. He glanced at the people passing by—each of them seemed to have a better start than he did.
[Host skills have been reset upon transferring to the new world. Although Wade possesses some theoretical skills, he lacks practical experience.]
Wade took a deep breath, trying not to lose his patience.
"Alright, what about a starting gift? Like in those other systems? I should get something to begin with, right?"
[The equipment is empty, Host.]
"Fantastic," he sighed heavily, getting up from the bench. He looked toward the bike path that wound around the park. "Okay, let's start with something simple. Vega, activate the stopwatch and tell me when to start. I'll run a bit, and we'll see what comes of it."
[Understood, Host. Get ready… 3… 2… 1… Start!]
Wade took off running, feeling each step on the hard concrete. His body felt heavy, his legs barely holding up, but he forced himself to keep the pace. He ran as if his life depended on it. He dodged a group of cyclists, and in the distance, he saw a neon advertisement—Tony Stark in his armor fighting some opponent on screen. It all felt surreal.
When he finally returned to the starting point, he was soaked in sweat, breathing heavily. He leaned against the bench, taking deep breaths.
"How did I do, Vega?"
[Time: 4 minutes 54 seconds.]
"Okay... Not bad for a start. Raise my running level to five."
[The skill "Running" has increased to Level 5.]
"That's it!" Wade felt something shift in his body. Every muscle was now tighter, ready for action. Suddenly, running became easier, and his body felt lighter.
After another round of running, his time dropped to 3 minutes and 45 seconds. Wade felt he was approaching his limits. His legs burned, but his mind began to plan the next steps. He wanted more; he wanted to be better.
[The skill "Running" has reached Level 10. New skill: "Superhuman Running."]
He smiled to himself, feeling his body pulsing with newfound strength. This was it. The first step toward becoming someone more than just an average guy in jeans.
"Let's check the status now, Vega. Let's see where I stand now."
