章 21: CHAPTER 22 : I WANT TO PROTECT YOU FOREVER
After he ended his call with Candy, Hanson called his friend doctor Dylan Hung to go to his apartment to examine Candy, when he arrived at his apartment twenty minutes later his friend was about to entered the lobby too. Hanson had informed Candy's dad about her condition.
Hanson welcomed Dylan to his apartment and thank him for coming "Thank you Dylan for coming here though it's already very late !"
"I'm always ready for you anytime my buddy ! Let me see her now." said Dylan nicely.
Hanson told Larry and his man to go home, he was about to carry Candy to his room, but she refused "Just support me so I can walk by myself !" She was embarrassed with Dylan.
When they entered Candy's apartment Dylan furrowed his brows.
"I thought that one is your apartment ?"
Hanson nodded "Yes it is, and this one is hers. I live together with her here now."
"Ouw, since when did you move here ?" asked Dylan curiously.
"About a month ago, and we've married legally now, our wedding will be held soon."
"Ooow, sorry for not knowing that."
"It's OK we haven't told anyone yet, now please check her up now. She said she's a bit dizzy, maybe the effect of the drug ?"
Hanson laid Candy on the bed, then Dylan started to examined her a while.
"How is her D ?"
After finishing examined her for a while Dylan nodded "She's in good condition, just give her some water and honey or you can make her some soup tomorrow. OK I have to go back now, hope you all alright !"
Hanson felt relieve "Thank you Dylan I owe you a lot, I'll pay you in this short time !"
"Haha... please don't bother !"
Hanson went back to the bedroom after he sent Dylan, he made honey water for her.
"Here drink some honey water" He helped her to sit on the bed.
Candy drank them up "Thank you, can you tell me now what had happened to me ? I remember I had dinner with Linda at the restaurant, but why I ended up with Larry ?"
Hanson told him about her kidnapping by Linda and Linda's evil did to her, but he didn't show her the pictures.
Candy listened to his explanation and summed them up in short "So I got dizzy because she drugged me ? I have to punish her !" she said with vengeful look in her eyes.
Hanson tried to calm her down "Don't worry she's in jail now ! Let the court punish her ! Just let her rotten in jail very soon !"
Candy got surprised "Really ? How come ?"
Hanson told her about her plot to take him, but he had prepared before with the policemen back him up.
Hanson secured her in his embrace "Don't worry you're saved now ! Qian let me protect you for the rest of your life ! How about if we advance our wedding in three months ?" begged him in desperate voice
Candy turned her head facing him, she's a bit worry with the preparation if they wanted to advance their wedding "Don't you need to ask your family first ?"
"I will, but I'm sure they'll agree with me ! I'll tell them tomorrow, let's have a rest for now. You take a shower first, do you need my help ?"
"No I can do it myself." said Candy shyly.
"Don't you feel dizzy ?" asked Hanson worriedly.
"It's better now"
"OK, Just don't lock the door, if anything happen I can help you right away !"
"Okay"
The next day Selina and Caren went to their apartment very early in the morning, they brought some breakfast for their children. Luckily Hanson and Candy had woke up when they arrived.
Selina came first about fifteen minutes later Caren came too, Hanson opened the door for them.
"Hi mom, what did you bring us today ?"
Selina kept him aside "This is not for you, this is for my daughter in law ! How are you today dear ?" she looked at Candy worriedly.
Candy responded her "I'm fine aunt"
Selina widened her eyes "Aunt ?"
Candy smiled she covered her mouth with her hand "Oops, I mean mom."
Selina smiled "Yes that's right daughter ! I've made you some chicken soup and porridge come let's have them !"
Candy thanked her and tried her food "Yes thank you mom, looks delicious."
Caren and Josh came when she was about to eat the soup.
"Mom you come too !" said Candy in joy.
Caren hugged her and caressed her hair "How are you my dear ? I'm so worried about you !"
Josh say hi to Selina then he hugged his daughter also "Anything hurt honey ? You really scared me to death yesterday !"
Candy was so happy to see her parents came "I'm OK now mom dad. Thanks to Han bro he moved fast to save me !" she winked at Hanson.
Josh shook Hanson's hand then hugged him "Thank you son, you've saved my daughter's life !"
Hanson smiled brightly "It's my duty dad, she's my wife after all. I want to apologize to you in advance because we've registered our marriage without your notice."
Josh laughed out loud "Really ? Hahaha... It's OK Han I know you're sincere to her. And I believe you're serious with my daughter !"
Hanson felt relieve, then he told him his plan about their wedding "Since you're here now, I'd like to ask your permission to advance our wedding in three month dad ?"
Selina widened her eyes heard him.
Josh laughed out loud "Are you that impatience to have my daughter Han ?"
Hanson tried to explain to him "My goal is to announce our wedding publicly as soon as possible, so that I can protect her publicly also dad. I don't want this incident like this will happen again in the future !"
Josh thought for a while "Hmm... it's not a bad idea. Are you sure you can arrange your wedding preparation in three months ?"
Hanson assured him confidently "I'm sure I can dad !"
"OK, I'll talk to your dad about this."
"Thank you dad" he smiled happily and so Candy.
Candy thanked them also for blessing their marriage "Thank you dad mom, I love you all !"
Hanson worked fast to prepare for his wedding, he talked to his dad to held his wedding in his H hotel within three months, he had ordered his suit and Candy's wedding gown from his designer friend.
He went to a jewelry store together with Candy, the one that they went to buy for Selina's necklace before. They walked into the shop and toward the counter with the rings. His eyes swept across the selection and immediately locked onto something.
He spotted at a ruby ring that would look good on her finger.
Her fair white skin was just like a piece of jade. He wanted to put that ruby ring on her long, slim fingers as her fair skin would look beautiful against a romantic red stone.
He pointed to the ring and asked the salesman, "Do you have a ruby stone in this shop?"
The saleswoman was thinking for a while, but she quickly replied, "Yes, we do. Please follow me."
While they were waiting for the saleswoman, a few people from the shop served them some tea and snacks.
After a while, the saleswoman came by with a tray and opened it for them. Two ruby stones were placed on a piece of black flannel cloth. Both had been cut and, under the light of the jewelry store, shone brightly.
The saleswoman used a pair of tweezers to pick up each of the rubys for Hanson to inspect under the lights. He show it to Candy also to ask for her opinion.
Candy nodded as she agreed with his taste. Hanson told to the saleswoman to put them on their wedding ring, then he swiped his card to make the purchase and immediately headed over to the shop.
When he back to the jewelry store the other day to take their wedding ring, the saleswoman took them from their storage and showed it to him before he took them away.
When the saleswoman open the tiny jewelry box , her jaw fell open.
"This is so beautiful! Your future wife is so lucky !" The shop woman could not help gushing.
Hanson smiled satisfied, he was proud of his taste. He took them away with him after making sure there's nothing to be repair anymore.
The invitations had been spread out to the relatives and business partners also other acquaintances. Actually Selina invited Linda's parent also, but they decided not to come and say sorry to her.
They were too embarrassed with their daughter's wrongdoing. They had paid a lot to bailed out their daughter from jail, but still she's under probation for six month. They planned to send her abroad six months later.

Three months later...
Mark helped his son to held the grandest wedding banquet for them that year. They all were very happy to be together as one family now.
Hanson held Candy's hand as they walked on the aisle together to the stage. They put on the wedding rings on each other fingers after the ceremony had over.The ruby rings were sparkling and shimmering as they wore on each other ring fingers. He gave a light kiss to her lips, and everyone gave them applause.
The guest were well treated by the hotel's staff, they served the best menu for them. Everyone were satisfied attending their wedding.
Kelly and Marvin just knew about Candy's identity when they were about to get married.
"No wonder she's so confident dating with boss, they both from rich family ! You can only dream about her Marv, she's not yours in the first place !" said Kelly.
Marvin responded her with his disappointed look in his eyes "I know, but I heard they've known each other since they were a kid ? Childhood lover ?"
"I heard about it also ! So, they were meant to be together since long time ago huh ? How sweet ! Just move on now Marv, should I introduce you to someone ?" said Kelly to encourage him.
Marvin smiled faintly looking at her "I know, I can find my self one. By the way, do you have a boyfriend ?"
Kelly shook her head "No, but I'm not looking for one right now." She laughed out loud, he smiled bitterly.

After the wedding ended, Hanson and Candy deciced to stay at the hotel for a night. When she laid on the bed next to Hanson she plucked up the courage and moved closer to him, then she began to rub the tip of her toes lightly against the back of his legs.
Candy leaned forward and planted a soft kiss on his ear and whispered, "Hubby…"
Hanson immediately froze as his ears turned red. "What… What did you just call me?" His eyes were wide open as he stared at her nervously.
Candy blushed and leaned forward, once again pressing herself next to his ear before whispering once more, "Hubby."
"You… Can you… Can you repeat that again?" Perhaps he was too excited or too overwhelmed, as he began to stutter even more.
Seeing his current state, Candy could not bear to reject his simple request so she called out again, "Hubby."
Her cheeks were flushed red as she leaned into him and kissed his neck.
Hanson smiled brightly "That was so nice to hear it just now, wifey !" he responded with zero hesitation this time. He was a bit stunned to hear the words come out of her mouth, but at the same time was extremely proud.
Suddenly Candy felt embarrassed she pulled the blanket to cover her and turned away from him sulkily.
Hanson grabbed the blanket and trying to uncover her "Hey wifey how dare you get away from me after seducing me just now !" Hanson reached over to hug her and began to kiss her cheeks. He tickled her and they enjoyed giggling and laughing for sometimes.
Hanson suddenly stopped, Candy looked at him "What're you thinking of?" she tugged on Hanson's sleeves.
"Well, I was thinking if it's alright for us to not have kids at the moment?"
"Why?" Candy was shocked she began to feel anxious.
"Don't worry." Hanson saw her face that had immediately paled and his heart ached. He reached over and kissed her softly. "I don't mean it in a bad way, I just thought that I haven't had enough intimate time with you yet, so let's just leave some time for the two of us and slow things down a bit."
Candy was loss of words. She giggled as she dived into his arms. "You're already so old though !"
Hanson widened his eyes "I'm not !" He said this with a laugh instead of in a frustrated tone.
Candy laughed lightly too.
"Let's just stop using protection after this," Candy whispered into his ear softly. It was a serious matter and they had to discuss the timing to try for having children in the future.
However, she still felt embarrassed saying it out loud.
"Besides, it's not like we can just have a child whenever we want one. If we're lucky, I might get pregnant soon, but that might take a year or two, or perhaps even a couple of years. What if… What if I end up with problems too, how bad will that be!" Candy circled her arms around his waist and tightened her grip, "Let's just… Let's just go with the flow, alright? Who knows when I'll conceive a child."
Candy peeked up at Hanson who remained silent with his lips tightly pursed. He looked like he was having an intense internal struggle in his head.
"Han bro ?" her voice woke him up from frozen .
"OK we'll just go with the flow. Let's have some rest now. Our flight will be very early in the morning tomorrow !" He kissed her lips before closing his eyes.
The next morning they left to Japan for honeymoon. They went to Sapporo this time and stayed there for six days.
Sapporo is smaller city than Osaka. The weather was very cool, The place it's more quiete and remote. Candy was comfortable staying in there. She spent so much time on her hobbies there, she painted and took some pictures of the sceneries as well.
