She immediately had a bad feeling. She threw the quilt quickly and rushed out. She didn't even wear her shoes.
At the moment, the door was opened. Edie saw a familiar man standing at the door.
She rushed to him without any hesitation, holding him into her arms tightly.
"Don't leave me."
She said. Stuart could feel her fear at the bottom of her heart.
Looking at his little wife in his arms, he could not help himself comforting her in a gentle voice, "I would not leave you. No one would leave you, baby."
Edie loosened his hands. She raised her head, staring at the man.
She suddenly remembered there was a one-finger-size scratch on her face. Though it was not too obvious, they would still look scary.
She touched her face and asked him, "Am I ugly now?"
