"Perhaps...I've interfered too much," Edie said in a depressed voice.
"About her relations with Jason?" Stuart raised the corner of his mouth and smiled.
"Yeah."
"Come on. I know you feel wronged. Here, lean on my chest."
Then, Stuart held her into his arms directly, without even asking her whether she needed it or not.
Edie curled her lips and said,
"I am fine now. I was indeed sad just now. But now, I am fine. I believe they can handle it. My words would help them. I should have minded my own business. I don't want to make her angry, actually. After all, it has been five years since I came here last time. I didn't want to let her down. I can handle it."
"Good girl. If you don't want to talk to her now, you can stay here watching my cooking. Everyone on the Internet said the man looked charming while he was cooking. What do you think about that?"
Stuart asked Edie seriously.
