Today's Lesson: Matthew 19: 16 - 20:16
* The Rich and the Kingdom of God
1. What did Jesus said when the rich man asked Him how can he have eternal life? [19:17-21]
Answers: by selling all his possessions and give it to the poor.
2. Why do you think it is hard for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven?
Answer: he has everything he has. He doesn't want to lose them.
3. Jesus referred to the Kingdom of Heaven and the Kingdom of God, are they one and the same? Why or why not?
Answer: they are the same. Heaven belongs to God.
4. Why do you think Jesus said "But many who are the first will be the last and many who are last will be first" in response to Peter's question in verse 27?
Answer: it is about. Servant leadership. One who serves others for Jesus, yet he is the last but the first who will enter the Kingdom of God.
* The Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard
5. Share your insights on what we can learn from the parable of the workers in thze vineyard.
Answers the workers beaten up the two servants, and lastly the heir of the vineyard because they are so much greedy and want to take all the possessions of their master.
