章 70: 'IS HE TRYING TO FOOL ME?'

Emmett silently read through the file. Jennifer couldn't decipher anything from his expression.

She felt nervous.

Unsure of herself.

Did she do it correctly?

Why wasn't the man responding?

After reading through the file, Emmett silently kept in down; on the table.

"Explain." The man gazed at her. His gaze was unwavering.

"Huh??" Jennifer looked puzzled.

What should she explain? Can't this man speak? Doesn't he have a mouth?

Should she explain her plan or should she explain why she planned it like that?

Emmett was long used to his assistant, answering him without him explaining in detail. But Jennifer was different, she wasn't close to him, as for now and hence couldn't answer his question.

"Why do you suggest this?" He folded his arms and questions slowly.

"You know that the company is facing financial problems. There are many reasons behind this. First one is less employment of staff. As there is a tough competition in Versailles for staff and this company is new, thus they have minimal staff."

"Second one is that the present staff is not so into the field. There portfolio though match the requirements, but they are not that experienced."

"How did you conclude that?" Emmett interrupted her.

"I had personally checked their portfolio's. They fit the requirements, but do not have the practical knowledge. The basic thing for any field is your practical knowledge. So we can conclude that this is one of the reason, why as to the company faces financial problems. Here...."

Jennifer showed Emmett a particular page, "These are the stocks of the company. They are lower in case of product selling, whereas higher in case of keeping records. It clearly states that there is no practical knowledge in the recruited employees."

"The third reason is the production. The production is quite low for a company this big. The data's provided, states that the production is decreasing, due to less selling of products. The fourth one is that, not a single advertisement company is sponsoring the company's products. These are all the reasons why they are suffering financial losses."

After Jennifer finished explaining, silence enveloped the room. Neither if them spoke. Only their breathing was heard.

Jennifer was a little unsure. She continued to stare at Emmett, but he kept mum.

When she almost couldn't take the heavy weight of the silence and decided to speak, the man beat her in it and spoke, "Very well. This all is true."

"So, where are your ideas?" Jennifer struck her chin high up and questioned him.

"They are the same as yours." The man replied without much change in his expression.

'Ah, the same?'

'Is he trying to fool me?'

'Or is he trying to copy my ideas.' Jennifer's eyes narrowed at this thought.

Seeing that the girl was suspicious, he took our his file and showed her.

Jennifer carefully went through the file and in the end was dumbfounded.

It was literally same.

She did feel a little dejected as his was same as her's. Why did it match though? She didn't want anything same like the devil. It was a bad luck for her. But she was also overjoyed when she thought that she as a newcomer could easily solve the problem.

"So, what do you propose? Where should we start from?" Jennifer shifted back in a comfortable position and spoke.
