章 8: Last I checked they were green, Another system?!
So there I was in my room with Momo in my lap as I worked on my newest project, or well projects as I'm making three of them, with the tv on in the background with the news playing. Momo is mostly just watching my hands at work while playing with my cat ears. Itachi:"What color do you want?" Momo: "Red." I:"Are you sure about that? Red ones can be pretty menacing" M:"Hmm, yeah I'm sure. You are gonna have a red one too so we will match and my hero costume."
I show here a crystal and everything she needs to know to make it and she waste no time in producing them as I slide them right into place finishing all three in an orderly manner. I take the first one and flip the switch on as a blade of plasma pops out with shading the room in a glow of purple. I: "Now remember do not unscrew this little ring at the end of the lightsaber, if you do it will cut through anything and that does include people."
That is right, I got myself two lightsabers for dual wielding one purple the other red, meanwhile Momo asked for one as well and it is a double end red saber like darth mauls. I place hers in hand as she kisses me M: "Thank you" I: "Anything for you princess." her cheeks flush and she just buries her face in my shoulder murmuring bully or something. I'll admit I'm head over heels for the girl and I acknowledge curse of hatred probably plays it's part in influencing my emotions towards anyone I deem precious but I don't care, I'm happy.
As we continue to be loveydovey the tv pops up with a news report about a villain attack now dubbed the slime villain incident. This immediately grabs my attention as I turn the volume up News Reporter: "After a bystander rushed in a attempt to rescue the hostage. Thankfully all turned out fine as Young Katsuki Bakugo was rescued by All Might." M: "There are a lot of villain attacks recently, I hope it slows down soon or we might end up getting some experience before we make it to U.A."
I nod absentmindedly as my focus is more on the quirk of the young idiot that rushed in to save Bakugo. A pair of glowing red eyes in place of normally green, he shouldn't have those so I begin thinking and trying to figure out what changed especially since he almost did a rasengan. Others would mistake it for a trick or light or a crappy quirk but I could recognize it since I practiced it myself.
"Just to be safe I should make sure to always escort you home Momo." I say as I discreetly send an order to T3 to find and send me the address of Izuku. Not more than a minute later it is in my gps and I make not to visit him myself as soon as possible speaking of which. "Momo, I was hoping to run an errand. I know that you wanna try out the saber but wait for me to help you out okay."
She pouted like a kid who had their toy taken away and it was absolutely cute I just had to forehead poke her Itachi style causing her to giggle and me to skip a heart beat. M: "Alright just promise to be back soon okay." I: "I promise I'll go my fastest so I can get back to you." Giving her a quick peck on the check I head on out leaving her to lounge about in my room doing whatever while I'm gone.
Meanwhile I'm using shushin to my Max possible speed trying to intercept this weird Deku. My thoughts are split between figuring out what his existence in this world means and how I'm going to prevent myself from eating up yaomomo since she plans on staying over with her parents out of country. 'If it wasn't for how pure she was before I started to corrupt her little by little I'd think she want me to' I think as I finally land I'm top of a building near Midorya's address. Looking around with the sharingan gives me a couple people moving around nearby but I can't see that green head of hair from my vantage point.
I don't need to either as I'm apparently lucky as I hear the loudest "For I Am Here!" In person, I say that because most of the time it is blaring off some speaker or tv. All it takes is a couple hops then there they are Izuku and All Might doing a pretty close recreation of chapter 2. Maybe a little less emotion on Deku's side since he has a quirk or something. He doesn't mutter that badly either, meanwhile I'm think how can All Might have a neck that long sure he looks normal in muscle form but it like his shoulders fuck off in true form and that is why he hunches over so his shirts don't slip off. That is ignoring how he doesn't bleed out, normal people don't spit out that much blood on a regular basis.
Wait why is Midoriya holding a senzu bean and trying to give it as thanks. This doesn't make any sense so I get closer despite my wish to stay hidden I just gotta get a closer look at this situation as a whole. Then that is when it happened, Izuku saw something in the corner of his eye and looked up to it as All Might left accomplishing his mission and looking at the curiously little bean his protege said could potentially heal him. I meanwhile ignored small might and glared at Izuku with my sharingan trying to discern the truth about him and our eyes met.
Izuku subconsciously activated his own sharingan and we peered into each other's eyes as lightning sparked between us. We both talk over it other in the next moment "You're like me." Heh reminds me of Spider-Man into the spider verse except Miles Morales didn't have a system that decided to finally chip in [System and System user detected. Establishing connection... Complete. Legacy system greets Strongest Hero system.] and Izuku himself is getting a similar message only less robotic and a bit more information.
Apparently the guy has a better system than me or more functional since he has a stats page, store, and quest journal. Though turns out the quest journal is just that a journal which earmarks quest made by the user for the user like a planner that sometimes gives rewards if the quest fills certain qualifications. I'm not sure why I know this but I do, it is all just kinda there in my head. "So how strong are you? I'm curious."
Deku meanwhile sighs in annoyance as he says "Not that strong, I got a few things from the store but I haven't gotten any strong techniques or powers since I haven't gotten a lot of quest that give points, thought it turns out I get a little bit for heroics like fighting that slime guy. Wish I found out sooner since that is my first source of points that isn't training. All I have is a guide to chakra and the sharingan, don't know if you learned but I can get powers from any hero or protagonist from anime."
I'm not sure if I'm jealous. I have a stronger start but he has way more potential than I do. "Alright tell you what I can teach you jutsu and in exchange you can buy me something from your store for me yeah?" He mulls it over then he nods his head D: "I can work with that. What is it that you want from me?" I: "I want a system upgrade token. I'm sure you noticed but mine is kinda underperforming if I had to compare."
He widens his eyes before mulling it over and having his system do the math. "Alright but you better give me enough jutsu to make it work my while. First you give me half the worth then I give you the token then I get the rest of the jutsu. Deal?"
"Fine" I throw a card with my contact information on it as I shushin away thinking over everything I learned today. It seems things are getting more interesting after all.
