章 240: Caught

Twenty Years Ago

The young Hawk was walking around the town's fountain, watching the birds busy picking up some grains that the townsmen purposely left for them. It had been a while since he was there but his patience had never run dry yet. These days, Cat rarely comes out of the mansion and he felt like she was held as a captive there. She said her grandfather was still there and that the latter would not be pleased if he learned that she had been constantly going out around the town.

  Today was however  different, the girl promised him the last time they saw each other that she was going to see him today and so he waited near the fountain patiently.

"Psssst…." He heard someone calling his attention and when he looked back, he saw the girl hiding around the corner. Hawk immediately ran towards her.

"What's wrong?" He asked, raising a brow at her indifference.
