章 20: 20 Cooking Skill
Jackson was really satisfied in seeing that he has a spare set of weapons other than his own, but the other one was a blade which is not really his type so he needs to find or craft his own weapon for later but now he just have to do with his katana and blade combination since it is already the best weapon he currently have.
He then proceeded to look for a set of armor he can use, he took a look at the Archidium set of his Wizard character and disregarded the idea since that set can only be used by a Wizard and the options of it were for magic users. He then looked for the set he used before he took up the Archidium set; The [DREI FRAME] Martial set.
It took him 30mins to find the set the he was looking for, he just put them in the front corner of the storage space and went out of the house to buy food. He strolled the town to look for different kinds of delicacies he walked towards the old lady's place.

When he arrived there he bought all of the kebab that the old lady was selling, the old lady was very happy to see that all of her goods were sold in less than a day. Normally it would take almost one week just to sell all of the kebab and that is already taking the fact that she sells them with a discounted price just to sell all of them before they've gone bad.
"Young man, why do I feel that I have seen you before?" The Old lady said as she stashed away the bag of coins that Jackson gave her.
"I bought a kebab here just the other day so you may have remembered me from that time." Jackson said as he put all the kebab in a container and started carrying them then he pulled out another bag of alz and gave them to the old lady.
"Here's a bonus for all of this kebab, I really find it delicious." the old lady was stumped and don't know what to do, although she really needs money to keep raising her grandchildren and support their living. She didn't want to earn money without efforts.
"I'm very sorry sir but I cannot take this, I already took the rest of the changed that you paid me for all of the goods so if I take this another bag without anything to exchange it to my conscience won't be able to take it." The Old lady said as she handed the bag to Jackson.
"Oh, Then just give me any of your things then you can accept this money that I gave you." Jackson waved his hands and placed the bag in the table again, he just appreciate the good taste of the kebab that the old lady sells to him that's why he forked out another bag of alz coins, he don't even mind if he was given a useless item in exchange my the lady.
"The only thing I have of value sir is our family heirloom this book, I already read it thoroughly so I don't have any use of it anymore." The old lady said as she handed over a book to Jackson.
He picked up the book and an information about it appeared in his mind.

'A Cooking book? Isn't this a great find then? I can cook my meals myself then? That's Great.' Jackson thought to himself as gladly accepted the book. "May I know your name?"
The old lady looked at Jackson and said. "My name is Vera, how about you young man?"
"My name is Blade-- My name is Jackson. Here take this, you can use it to call me any time." Jackson said as he gave Vera the Mail Card that was assigned to his name.
Jackson didn't immediately tried to learn the book but stashed it away with the food that he bought, he then bid farewell to Vera and continued to stroll the town, he made sure to go to an alley first and store his things in his inventory so that the food that he bought wont spoil.
On his way to his house, he bought a lot of ingredients for cooking and when he reached his house he brought it all out in the kitchen and decided to learn the skill. He then proceeded to prepare the food and in his mind although he still don't know all of the recipes at the least he knows how to handle and process the ingredients and what to put in the stove correctly.
At first he cooked a Stir-Fry dish and tried tasting it. "Wow, I didn't expect my cooking to be this delicious on my first try, although it can't be compared to Vera's level of cooking it was still acceptable since it was his first dish."
He placed the food in the table and began devouring all of it, he was very hungry because of what happened, he still can't believe that his level was brought back to him and he was able to learn a Cooking skill book which were not in the game. He then decided to check the skill and what appeared in his mind shocked him.

"Wait this isn't what appeared earlier, you mean to say that the old lady Vera was in fact Veradricks? Why is she selling some kebab on the streets? Why is she disguising herself as an old lady?" Jackson said.
"Why do I keep meeting prominent NPC figures in the game. *Sigh* " Jackson rubbed his forehead and let out a sigh.
