I realise there may be a bit of confusion happening here but this story is complete. I am not marking it as 'Complete' because on Webnovel, authors won't be allowed to add any more chapters after a book has been set to complete and I do intend to add some extra after story chapters in the future. But for all intents and purposes, this story has already reached an end so no need to worry about it being a dropped book.
A nice sweet look into an ordinary boy, Not!! Fun and laugh out loud book that has caught my interest immediately. A good winter read.
this novel is kind of alright for passing time, it would've been way better if not for the bad comedy.
I love this I really do but when I was reading it, it was free and I got to at least 130 but I came back later and found it was limited to only chapter 30. I’m disappointed but, still an amazing read
While it's a great book, this review is mostly a form of protest. The author themselves promised that a large quantity of chapters would be free, and under the reasoning that they don't want anyone to suffer through unlocking a particularly unpleasant arc. That number, up until roughly 17-18 days ago, was 199 chapters. Then, at that threshold, all chapters from 31-199 were reset and locked. We, as readers, are currently unaware of whether this is by fault of Webnovel or by author. This is due to the author failing to respond to any inquiry about the nature of this change. While one may think this is due to inactivity, that is actually false. The author is currently working on another novel, and is proactive in their participation. To the fans reading this, please pester them until they, at the very least, clarify whose fault this change is, and ensure they post that response under their own review. This is a rather important issue, and must be rectified as soon as possible.
5* because I love this novel very much, only recommend this to people who likes a story chill but fast-paced, slice of life but insane, cute girls with genocidal tendencies.

I mean just wow this is what I needed after reading numerous boring novels for a while I can't believe I did not know about this sooner
What is important to a story is to have a feel which is unique to itself. Sometimes some concepts get stale but never should they be considered as waste. Being a fan of Yandere Genre is a bit tough as not too many good stories come by. This story was very unique and one of the rare ones which was properly completed. So, my thanks to Draekai for writing and not dropping it midway.This story has a unique setting and good world building. Of course all things cannot be excellent and this genre is tough with its characters but they are pretty good and unique. I enjoyed the story very much. Give it a try if you are a fan of the genre.
I liked everything till the child arc. I wanted to see OP Mc and not a MC who doesnt show his powers. i wanted to see an adventure but till now they were staying in the sect with these useless elders and this long training . then came this annoying undead who disrespects the mc and we cant do anthing i dont even know how long it takes for her to vanish from existence and i really hope she just will be erased.
Well in my humble opinion, of course without offending anyone who thinks differently from my point of view, but also by looking at this matter in a different way and without fighting and by trying to make it clear, and by considering each and everyone's opinion, I honestly believe that I completely forgot what I was going to say.
When i see the first review have 1 to 3 star i started to think this is garbage but when i see the raiting in 4.9 star and the previous comment have a lot of 5 star thats why i started to read to judge my self and oh boyy this is awsomee!!!. I cant stop laughing this is the best novel i read so far!!!!

Good really good novel... I am having fun reading the novel and I manage to pass the infamous arc... Though I am somewhat repulsive with regards to brendan... I still don't know what will happen since I am still on the part where brendan shows his alchemy to MC... And one question and I apologize if my question is silly or what but are the disciples really yanderes? Or overly protective, impulsive, murderous disciples?
Well written and fun book. Like any other book the reader will need to be interested in the content to enjoy it, after all people who don’t like horror tend to avoid the horror genre. MC is selectively dense, what I mean is he knows things don’t add up from the very beginning (knows the bag of gold Lian Li finds is suspicious) but chooses to ignore them for an easy life. To the point that it becomes habit to not question anything the female leads do as long as he doesn’t perceive their actions to threaten his easy life. Key words there are “doesn’t perceive” because we all know a cult worshipping you as God can very easily ruin your easy life. In my opinion this is a really good book, but to each their own. Overall, give it a try and if you feel the need to stop before finishing the family arc (around ch 100) then do me a favor and don’t leave a bad review. There’s so many that the bad reviews ACTUALLY made me want to read the book. Currently at ch 350ish and still enjoying it

If you like authors throwing unnecessary R*pe scene to make it "DARK" and for the convenience of the Mc to pick up and be the Hero of the day. BE MY GUEST.
Beautiful, it was beautiful till “the arc” I loved how the disciples were like ” this gold must be your reward for being so virtuous” after they were robbed, and how the sisters tried making nukes. Ten outta ten till that arc came
It's been about 3 years, so I guess I can be forgiven for only writing a review for my own book now. There is only 1 thing I wanted to say: Yes, I know that arc is bad, you know which one I'm talking bout. I hate it myself too, you don't need to tell me anymore. If I could go back and rewrite the entire thing, I would, but I still needed that arc to set up some things in the future and it's too late to do it at this point so I won't. That's why there's no need to keep telling me how bad that arc was because believe me, I KNOW. There's a reason why I locked this book at such a late chapter and didn't make anyone pay for it until past this particular arc, so if you're the kind of person who can't accept that I'm not perfect and would still make mistakes, then I won't stop you from dropping the book. But you can stop telling me how bad that arc was already because I heard it enough times, know it as a fact myself and it's getting really old. I wrote that 3 years ago for crying out loud. I'm still learning! Anyway, that's all. As for everyone else, thank you for your continued support and honestly I wouldn't have come this far without all of you. Thank you all once again and I hope I can continue to entertain you as long as I write! Oh, and if you haven't already, do join our discord!
