Lexi hung up her mobile and sat it down, looking at Matthew directly before saying "Where is Dominic?"

Matthew shook his head before saying, "You were so engrossed with the phone call that you did not hear his say he was heading to bed early tonight as he was feeling tired."

Lexi jumped slightly and said "I need to check on him.  He…"

"Is OK Lexi.  He just overdid things with his classmates today."

"Let him be Lexi.  He is happy and doing well at school.  And honestly In know from interactions with other children, even the healthiest of children can, when they are playing with friends overdo it and exhaust themselves.  He needs to know his learn where his limits are, and we need to be willing to let him learn that, otherwise when we want him to respect limits we impose, will he do so?"
