Growing up an atheist, I never thought there would be an after life, I just thought it would lead to eternal darkness and nothing more.
That's what I thought until I died from being impaled by a metal rod walking next to a construction site.
The pain wasn't bad because it happened quick, but I really wanted to get me a wife and children before dying, too bad.
I guess now that I'm standing in front of a white haired child with weird eyes I'll be going to hell for not believing.
"You shouldn't be looking at your phone while walking, dude." Said the child.
'WHAT? Why is he acting so casual, it's weird.' I thought to myself.
"What do you mean casual? I always act like this, I can read your thoughts you know? Since I created you and all."
'Oh crap'
"Um, where am I?" I said.
"You're nowhere and everywhere... haha just kidding, this is where I've been watching everything from." Said the child.
"Will I go to hell now?" I asked, scared.
"That's not how it goes, you didn't believe because you didn't have a reason to, I was going to send you to another world, but as punishment, you'll be a God in it." He said in a serious tone.
"What do you mean? Isn't it good to be a God?" I asked, confused.
"Not in this world, Gods there are the weakest race, but, to give you a chance to survive, I'll tell you a secret, and I'll give you one wish instead of 3" he said as he gestured opening a window that has info about this world.
It ranks the races from strongest to weakest.
Celestial being the strongest and God being the weakest. I was surprised when I saw that humans are in the middle, 'Gods really have it rough' I thought.
"Well they do since they opposed me when they were the strongest, so I chose to make them the weakest and made humans stronger" he said, smiling.
It said in the history of this world that Gods were arrogant and treated humans as puppets and used them to spread hate and war in the universe, and went so far as to challenge the ~Creator~ in order to get more strength. Only to be reduced into the weakest because of his omnipotence.
Now that the humans are stronger, they use Gods as their slaves, 'karma sure does hit hard.' I thought.
Then I remembered, "What's the secret? And why just one wish?" I asked the child.
"The secret will be told to you once you've been transported, as for the wish, if you had believed in me, you would have 3 wishes instead of 1, that's another part of your punishment" he said while flying around in the white space. He continued "So what's your wish?" I answered, being the weeb that I am "Can I have a system capable of helping me with everything?" Of course I would want to have a cheat.
"Wish granted, the system will be able to give you stats, tell you how strong others are, have a shop, and omniscience. So that's how you envision a system? You really do want to cheat" He said, laughing.
I laughed awkwardly, why wouldn't I? The kid was reading my mind.
"Well, are you ready to go? You will be a God named Surak, born in the country of Neiza, son of Heina and Galath." (names of the parents won't be important).
"Weird names, I guess I'm ready to go" as soon as I said it, the kid snapped his fingers, and everything is now white again.
