As Ning had expected, she received a call from Yichan as soon as she arrived at the hospital.

"Babe, what are you doing?" Yichan asked.

"You know where I am, don't you?" When he did not say anything, Ning added, "Your men are subtle but not invisible."

"It's not like I don't trust you or I am spying on you—" he tried to explain his actions. With everything going on, he didn't dare to lose the end from his side and with him not around, he had doubled the security around her. When his men told him Ning was at the hospital, he was worried thinking she might be unwell.

"You don't have to explain, I know you trust me. I am here to visit mom."

"She is still at the hospital?" he inquired. "I thought she got discharged a couple of days ago."

"Umm yeah she was supposed to but she had to stay back for a few more days. The doctor wanted to take a few tests so—"

"Okay then, tell mom that I was asking about her and call me when you reach home, okay?"
