章 108: In A Pickle

Reuben mindlessly enters his home to find Yulia in the kitchen, "where is Joshua? Did he leave already?"

Reuben still feels like Yulia betrayed him by talking to Joshua. So now he's doing his best to get over the fact that their daughter, Leena, is no longer on speaking terms with them and that Reuben has gotten lonely enough to start talking to Yulia. 

Since revealing everything to Everest and Leena, the smile on Yulia's face has faded to the point that not even Reuben can comfort her anymore. 

She dryly replies, "he left."

"Did he say where to?" Reuben comes close to see what she's cooking in a large pot.

Yulia met his eyes before saying, "He left for South Korea."

"What's he doing there of all places?" 

"To find Alina, my sister's ashes."
