章 15: Chapter 14: Little Qiao Qiao

Chu Quao was now walking alone in the middle of a wilderness. After the announcer declared the second round, they're place automatically changed it's theme. They are in the middle of a forest with wild monsters around.

They don't have anything but the announcer says that there's a sword beside them as they already landed on their places.

Chu Quao saw the sword beside her but she didn't took it, rather she pick the flower near her and enjoy it's fragrance.

While roaming around, she heard an odd noise coming from somewhere. It was like a thing whose breathing hard and it's footsteps was soft.

Chu Quao followed the noise, and she found herself lying on the floor with a wild bird-- no it's a half bird and half lion creature.

It was roaring on her face and was about to eat her head, so she can't think clearly because of fear. She kick the monster as hard as she can.

Chu Quao have her chance to escape as she able to removed the monster on her top, but suddenly she hear it groan.

When she turn around and look at it, the half-bird half-lion was a kid. It has a wound on it's left wing. She felt sorry for hurting the bird-- half bird and half lion creature.

So she come closer and check it's wound. In Floral Realm, they were taught how to do a fist aid. Chu Quao find the herbal leaves and grind it before putting in raw wounds.

So she did it, she tear her clothes and she used it to cover the monster's wound. "Don't worry little birdy-lion, your wound will be healed after a few days"

And she smiled at the monster, but when she was about to stand up the monster suddenly jump onto her.

It's small long and sharp nails scratches Chu Quao's arm. "Ouch!" She exclaimed

The monster immediately leave and sit not far from Chu Quao. She looked at her arm to check if it's bleeding...

But even a drop of blood, it's nothing but a glowing three lines on it where the monster scratch her.

Even the wild creature hurt her, she thinks that as a fair. She first hurt the monster so she guess they were even.

She walk toward the monster's place, but it was avoiding her.

"Hey birdy... Don't be afraid of me. I was just shocked so I kick you, I'm sorry" she said sincerely

The little monster look at her, "I hope you will forgive me... and by the way, my name is Chu Quao. How about you?"

The monster just looking at her without response. "I guess you have no name..."

"What if I will named you... ah! Qiao! Your name is Qiao Qiao!" She said with joyfully

"Do you like it?" The monster immediately shook it's head.

"Why are you shooking your head? You don't... you don't..."

The monster was ready to hear that she will say that, 'You don't want it?' And then change it to a manly one.

"You don't..." the monster immediately nod his head

"You don't... You don't dare to let me change it because you like it!" The monster was disappointed, he was just HOPING for NOTHING.

"Aww so sweet Qiao Qiao!" Chu Quao smiled brightly as she's calling the monster's new name.

"Come with me Qiao Qiao, let's go around and find some flowers" Qiao Qiao was frowning as HE followed Chu Quao.

Shi Yan was bothering about Chu Quao because she didn't take the sword provided to her.

He know it because the announcer was telling all the details what's happening in the Wilderness Forest.

The wilderness forest was in the Wild Realm. There was a lot wild creature and monsters in the forest, that's why each of the joiners was provider by a Snow Sword.

It won't kill the monster therefore, their death will looked like real. They can have wounds and bleed but after losing their wounds will be healed and if they die, they will be alive.

But the silly Chu Quao ignored the Snow Sword. She won't be able to win in the second round and he was sure to it.

In the second round, if someone be able to slain a monster. He will automatically bring back to the Heavenly Realm. And if he failed, there will be only three chances because there is three rounds left.

There were only two who wins in the first round, so most of them will be have a difficulty to win the rest.

"Prince, the 30th man was attacked by a Griffin"

'Aiyaa! That stupid woman! '

Shi Yan was worried if something will happen to Chu Quao. The griffin is a half eagle and half lion creature. It was one thousand times stronger than any lion and five thousand times as farsighted as an eagle.

He wants to go after her but he knows he can't, his mother was also watching Chu Quao's every move. He knew it all along because he can sense of disgusted on her mother to Chu Quao.

And also, because of her acts. His mother doesn't want a stupid people, as well as he, himself. But there is something on Chu Quao that can longer his temper, and he doesn't know how could she do that.

So rather than act recklessly, he cough first and ask the announcer in instant. "What happen?"

His voice was as cold as an ice, so he's comfortable that no one will think some nasty things about him or him having a favoritism.

"Well, he kick the griffin so he had a chance to escape..." the announcer started

He heard the announcer's gasp, "Prince! The 30th man help the griffin instead of running and save his life!" He said unbelievably

'What the hell is she doing?! The Griffin must take the advantage to kill her because of her soft-hearted ' -he thought

"She heal the griffin's left wing... but the it immediately scratch his arm!"

Shi Yan have thoughts on Chu Quao's failure, he knew that Chu Quao can't bear to leave an injured people or even wild animals who can kill her at the end, as long as they were alive. Life is important to her, and she's willing to help no matter what.

"She will surely fail" he whispered

"Wait... what is this?! The 30th man... He manage to TAME the griffin! How could that happen?!"

Shi Yan was shocked, he want to believe but he don't want hoping. He want to ask to make it clear.

But the queen already asked, "Are you sure?"

"Yes Heavenly Queen, it is indeed true. And me myself can't also believe it"
