He had stopped completely and turned to stare at me. "What?" I asked confused as to why he was still looking at me.
"Did you tell your mom?" he asked carefully "No, she saw the ring. Why? Didn't you want her to know?" I replied curiously "No it was just as she was leaving she mentioned something.
If she knew that we are engaged then we might want to spend the night at a hotel" he said with a small laugh "Why? What did she say?" I said worriedly, I knew my mom and the things she was capable of. It could get scary.
"It was along the line of, „it all worked, is everything ready for when we get home?‟
"Oh, Lord! She could be planning anything and everything" I said freaked out. I sat down on the bed.
I thought about it and started laughing. "What? Are you okay?" John asked "I just noticed that we are both almost mid-twenty-year-old parents and we are still afraid of my mother" I laughed. I looked up at John and he began to laugh seeing my point of view. We spent the next hour packing and mucking around, then it was time to leave.

Time to start a new life, a happy one. Five Years later I sat down in the lounge room savoring the peace that I was hardly granted these days with a sense of sadness. It was too quiet. John had taken all the kids to school this morning. Shortly after we had become engaged we had a runway.
A year later we welcomed two more additions to the family. Sophia and Michael. The Kids, Adam, Ava, and Maema, were now almost eight years old and Sophia and Michael were four, just starting kindergarten.
It had been eight years since I had no children running around the house demanding attention. I was not sure what to do. John was twenty-seven, I was twenty-five.
It had not been an easy road, the one that we had chosen but I had never been so happy in my whole life. I had six children that I adored, I had a husband that could still give me Goosebumps just by looking at me and although I was currently a stay home mom, I had a medical degree that specialized in pediatrics.
I sat there reminiscing over the years when I heard the front door open and close. I looked up to see a blonde Lord leaning against the door frame. "Kids at school?" I managed to ask "Hmm" he replied still looking at me
"What?" I asked self consciously checking my face for toothpaste of cereal that had found its way on to me.
"Nah, I was just looking and thinking," he said with a smiled and walked over and sat on the couch next to me, his arm around me and his head snuggled into my neck.
I smiled and leaned over to kiss his head. No matter how time passed my love never faded. It grew. "You know how much I love you right?" he muttered "Of course I do.
Why?" I asked curiously "You know how when the twins were born that I promised to go and get, ah, you know done" he said cautiously "Yes" I said slowly hoping to the Lord that this was not going where I thought that this was going "hey, well I may have told a small white lie" he said while starting to kiss me, obviously trying to distract me. I moved over to the other end of the couch.
"John… if you are about to say what I think you are going to say then you can forget having intimate ever again" "Well I think it is a little late for that.
When was your last period?" he blurted out I sat there stunned. No, no! "John…" I said warningly "Please?" he pleaded I sighed and began to work it out… then stopped and started again.
