Well, the fact that they have a device to forcefully open a wormhole was proof of the device's prestige.

Unless he chose the Star Traveler path instead of the True Celestial path, he would probably be able to defy the laws of space as well.

Apparently, his Void Phase was just an entry-level celestial ability and he still has a lot to learn.
