章 1: Fingers Crossed
"We need to extra help! It's one of our cancer patients! HURRY! We're losing her! WE'RE LOSING HER!"

"No, please. I can't lose you too! Please come back don't leave me, please!? DONT LEAVE ME HERE! .....please?"
~6 months before~
"LIA! Move your ass, you're going to be late! EMILIA HURRY UP!"
-Screams Daniel with annoyance clearly in his voice
"I'm coming! Don't curse at me Eli! I'm coming I just have to get my toothbrush!"
-I yell back at my brother
(Ava's POV)
"Seriously Grams, I don't want to leave you here alone. Why did you sign me up, we could've saved like 1 million dollars."
-I say worried and annoyed
"I want you to have fun Aya, I signed you up for you're own good. I promise I'll take care of myself, stop worrying!"
-My grandma says sternly
I was never one to have "fun" ,I've spent all my life being antisocial and being introverted. Not because I wanted to, but because I'm too scared of losing another loved one.
I know I sound like a typical girl that fakes depression and tries to look cool by making herself seem mysterious and intriguing, but no I'm like this not by choice. I've lost my entire family in a car crash, well all besides my grandma. I also lost all my friends because apparently in this society sleeping with different guys automatically makes you a whore and a useless used-up rag. Word spreads around fast in this town. When the storm was "over" I found myself a girlfriend and me being stupid I started doing drugs, and well she wanted me to take time to myself and get better. Sigh.
If you think things couldn't get any worse think again. 8 months after my girlfriend broke up with me, I found out that I was pregnant by one of my fuck buddies. Let's just say he wasn't so supportive. Long story short I was excited to be a mother, but well my son was a miscarriage.
(Back to Emilia's POV)
As my brother drives me to the airport I took a breath of air, trying to take a photographic picture of my view with my memory. Let's hope this journey will be worth it, who knows? Maybe I'll meet my macaroni to my ketchup. Maybe, just maybe I'll find my soulmate. Maybe. I hope!
