Wu Hexie would go to school earlier than Kazuki and she would also go home very late. Nevertheless he would only see her at home and school from a distance. She haven't noticed him yet.
During that time, he observed how she behaved infront of other people.
She was the opposite when she's in school. If at home she was somewhat loud and talkative (to Nanny Lin and to some stray animals that visit the backyard) and perpetually anxious whenever she was with him, at school she was the prim and proper, stoic, emotionless Ice Queen.
Aside from her childhood friends, she only have two other friends in her department that was usually glued to her, unlike him who was surrounded by lots of people. Although she was sometimes alone, she didn't look like a loner. Rather, she looked like a person that shouldn't be bothered-- untouchable, just like him when he's withhis self.
"Tch. Why am I comparing myself to this confusing girl?" He wondered to himself.
"Huh? What?" Jinhai asked beside him.
"I was not talking to you. Don't mind me and continue oogling at your new girlfriend's pictures online, you cyber stalker." Kazuki shook his head disapprovingly.
"Oh? Jin-Jin is stalking Lihua? Hahahaha you fucking pervert!" Zhang Mingyu who just arrived chortled. Tanaka Shiro was beside him holding a tray with lots of different food.
The three lads were also enrolled here with the same degree and major. But Kazuki knew it was his mother who coerced his friends and bandmates to get Postgraduates degree and be classmates with him to keep tabs on him.
"Oooh Jin-kun is fantasizing on Lihua-san's photos, I see...kekekeke!" Shiro snickered.
"Ya! I-I was not oogling at Lihua's pictures! I was just appreciating her beauty-- I mean the beautiful designs on her dress that she designed! She's a wonderful designer you know!" Park Jinhai uncharacteristically defended himself.
Kazuki only arched his eyebrow on him. His friend somehow changed. During their world tour the past year and a half, Jinhai surprisingly didn't have a single fling. Which was very unlikely since he usually dates here and there.
"My friends. Have you tried these sweet and sour chicken? The taste is heavenly! Though it's not as crunchy as what I usually cook..." Shiro babbled. He's really a foodie and his cooking skills are amazing.
"Hey Shiro, can you make me some food that cures headache?" Mingyu massaged his temple as he scrolls on his phone.
"Hmm....let me guess...it's Minato Kimiko again right? Your 'Number Zero' fan?" Shiro snickered.
"Ugh. That girl is annoying. She keeps bombarding me with cringey messages both in Lime and in all of my social media accounts!" Mingyu then turned off his phone.
"Damn! I wish Lihua-the-love-of-my-life would do that to me too..." Jinhai sulked.
"Yeah! Isn't it good to have a dedicated fan girl like that, right Zuki-kun? Plus she's one of your little sister's best friends!" Shiro said as he eat some sakura mochi.
Kazuki only blinked at Shiro. They keep on teasing him having a fangirl wife. But Wu Hexie is far from Kazuki's fangirl especially now that she keeps on ignoring him.
Speak of the devil. Wu Hexie arrived at the second floor with her two friends slash guardians with trays of food. They sat just across from where they sat, but their seat was not easily seen due to the plants.
"That's the thing...it's weird having someone I know personally, fangirling and fainting whenever she see me. It weirds me out!" Mingyu rubbed his skin.
"Then just reject her if you really don't like her..." Kazuki suggested.
"I can't....my little sister would hate me. She really adore that annoying girl..."
Then some Elite seniors, who were their same-aged childhood friends and acquaintances came to their table and started conversing with them.
"Damn Jinhai, you lucky son of a gun! You really got the Stylish Queen of ICE-U, Wang Lihua!" Said an Elite senior with a Royal Snowflake, Namikaze Sasuke.
"Yeah! Teach us your ways, senpai!" Another Royal Elite senior, Lee Kyungsoo.
"A gentleman never reveal his secrets. But here's a little tip; never ever take advantage nor violate women's distance. I learned that the hard way..." Jinhai said it seriously.
"Woah!"
"Tell us more, oh Great One!"
Kazuki didn't participated in Park Jinhai's Love Counseling to their childhood acquaintances. Instead, he looked over to the red haired girl eating absentmindedly several tables away from where they sat.
Kazuki scrolled through the gathered data on his phone.
The following were his acquired intel.
1. The red juice was NOT blood.
He ordered his private investigators to get CCTV footages during the time of the Blood Donation Day. Wu Hexie brought the juic box from the locker room which was on the same way from the room where the donated blood was temporarily stored.
The juice in question was in fact Hera Wu's homemade diet juice. His uncle Kazuhiro gave him that info when he delivered a box of the same juice in their house one time.
"Oh it my wife's gift for Hexie-san. It's apparently a diet juice made for Hexie-san. Maybe that's the reason why Hexie's benn skinny lately...well, please give these to her, I'm late for a meeting. Bye!"
He deduced that the red stains were from the juice as well. Though he overheard Nanny Lin that the clothes with the red stains have an alcoholic smell.
2. The beaten up student near Club Luna: was not a victim.
He was simply a drunk pervert who tried to harass one of Wu Hexie's childhood friend, Mingyu's little sister, Zhang Dongfei. The guy got beaten up by the Wu Hexie due to self defense. His private investigators got the copy of the pervert's testimony from the police station.
He also got info that she's currently a black belter and now learning Kick Boxing. Interesting.
3. Her pale skin is natural.
Wu Hexie was born with pale skin. And due to the fact that she was always wearing tracksuit and hoodies in their homes. And she was always in her cold room. The girl always have an umbrella on her bag.
And that zipper incident proved that she doesn't get hurt when sunlight touches her skin whoch disproves the 'fact' about vampires. That humiliating incident in the afternoon, they were at the sunlit part of the kitchen and her torso were exposed to the sun and nothing happened. No sign of burning. And no, he did not saw her chest as his vision was fixated on her ghostly pale stomach.
And his verdict for the Vampire Wu Hexie Rumor is: NOT TRUE.
Kazuki was pulled out from his musings when he heard his name. He didn't hear the first part but when the other girl spoke, he almost choked on his premium iced tea.
"So a Genius Empire Heir is Hexie-sama's type. That makes sense! You two would look good together!"
"The fuck?!" He coughed.
"Hah?! W-What the-- no Chieko-chan! That's preposterous! I wouldn't dream of it!"
"Oh come on Hexie-sama! It's natural to have a crush! And Choi-sama is not a bad choice!" The other girl cheered on dreamily.
"A perfect choice actually! It is Chieko approved!"
"Oi, Kazuki. You okay?" Shiro asked and handed him tissues.
"Hn." Kazuki only nodded and glared at Wu Hexie.
What the hell was she doing telling everyone he is her ideal man, he thought. Was she crazy?
He was boiling in anger. She ignores him then this happened? Enough is enough. Tonight, he thought, everything should be settled.
*pops out from the cave*
