章 19: Parting ways...
"Haha! Looks like I will not have to convince you to grab your chamagne now!" Mike stood up on his feet with one swift move and held out his hand, to help her.
Wow! Stella could not believe that her hand was currently on his hand. The girl's imagination was probably very strong. It was actually making up for the lack of current romance.
In just a few seconds, the elevator reached the seventeenth floor. The man started wearing his jacket and once again Stella could clearly see the wonderful sight of his toned abs.
"Seems, like your sister Livia and I are on the same floor." They got off, from the elevator at the same time, looking at each other.
"Seems so!" The girl smiled at him, looking in his brown eyes. But she instantly, averted her gaze from those memerising eyes.
"Which side are you supposed to go?" They both looked at the sign boards, pointing on different directions with room numbers written on it, just next to the elevator.
"It is this way!" The girl pointed to her left side.
The man checked his room key and then the sign boards. "Oh! Mine is on the right." He pointed towards the right.
They both smiled at each other and did not speak for a few seconds.
"Well, to be honest, I have never had a better time in an elevator. Seriously! Thank you so much for that." The man smiled at her and reached out his hand.
"Likewise Mike." Stella shook his hand sniling widely. "And.. umm...all the best for the wedding!"
The boy chuckled and then winced.
"Oh! Please do not remind me of the wedding. Also, congratulations to your sister."
