章 13: The Hunt (2)
Early in the morning Styler is already awake, excited to check the traps he set up in the Blood Rivers. He immediately finished his breakfast but he needed to go to the Spiky Forest to collect some Poison Spike Tree branches, he learned that porcupines loves this kind of wood and they can't resist the smell of the poison that they are the only one who can eat it. Styler immediately headed to Blood Rivers to check his traps.
When he checked his traps, they are all triggered but only 6 traps has the dead body of the snakes and the others are empty.
"Good enough I guess."
After packing the snakes he set up his last trap. He put all the branches that he collected from the Spiky Forest and hid on the bush nearby with spear ready to kill. The porcupines are very cautious so if he isn't quick enough he might get poisoned. But he prepared for that as well, he wrapped himself in thick clothing because he still doesn't have any armor. It was hot and tight but he endured it just for the sake of money.
After some time waiting, a porcupine with the size of a basketball appeared. Styler didn't expect that it would be this big. He prepared his spear and waited for the right moment aiming at the head.
When the porcupine started eating one of the branches, Styler thrust his spear right into the porcupine's head. The porcupine struggled for a while then it stopped moving.

He quickly put the porcupine in his bag and continued waiting. But just after 5 minutes he saw another porcupine approaching. He immediately prepared his spear, the size of the creature is still the same.
But when he thrust his spear towards the porcupine's head, the creature dodged in surprise causing him to miss. The creature launched some spike towards Styler and then immediately turned around and started to run. Thankfully he has some protective clothing but he can not chase the creature because of the it, so he threw the spear towards the porcupine.
The porcupine was hit on his back. His running speed lowered dramatically so Styler summoned his dagger and stabbed the struggling porcupine.

[You can no longer gain exp. on killing creatures of C-class places]
Styler heard this new announcement.
"Well that makes sense, because if we can gain exp. here even though we are over leveled we can just level up here and and reach level 100." he thought to himself while packing the porcupine.
He still continued killing porcupines until the night came. He got a total of 4 porcupines. He went home and sell all the creatures in his bag on the Radiant area.
He got a total of 6000 bronze coins after selling all the creatures. He planned to spend the money on new clothes and processed food. He want to taste new foods and easy to cook so he can have more time hunting and having fun. But before all of that he went to take a bath before going to bed.

In the morning Styler spent the whole day
buying clothes and foods of different types. He spent 4500 bronze coins for just a day and went home. He prepared and fixed all the things he bought and ate his dinner. Tonight his meal was different from his previous meals, he cooked processed meat. It is tastier from the meat he cooked. He wondered if they added something to make the meat tastier and juicy.
