章 19: Chapter 18: The Make-Up
Kai Virtanen's POV
I don't know why Kathleen was so upset with me when we were about to make love, not that I would not force her to make love to me. She thought that after our Honeymoon in Greece, I still stuck on her stuck-up sister. She did belittle herself. I have to make sure that everything is fixed, right here, right now.
the look that she gave was all obvious for me. I was not mad nor I was angry. But I was consumed like the beast has claimed myself right now. And you know how much I needed the anger management issue in check. I stalked over her like a beast that was about to burst someone's head.
"Kai, stop. I said stop. Remember, control," Kathleen said as she was backing up to the bookshelves that we have in the master bedroom. All of the books that Kathleen loved to indulge whenever she can.
"Oh? I thought you don't want me to control anymore ever since you said Get Out in my face just now," I said darkly as I was stalking effortlessly in her way.
"Kai, no, stop. This is not who you are," she said as her back was hitting the bookshelf. She stood there as I was cornering her, trapping her under my arms as I tried, mostly tried, to control my anger and my desire toward her naked body. The blasted woman did not have anything one and I smirked at that.
"you know, it would be much easier for both of us if you just surrender to your desire, my love," I whispered darkly into her left ear. She shuddered as she was trying to keep sane.
"Kai," she replied but I put my finger on her lips, shutting her out. I traced my thumb across her lower lips before she licked it after I removed my thumb. Blood rushed to my groin as I was trying to keep my head sane before I lose it all.
"You need to go, Kai. I want to be alone tonight," she whispered but her eyes told another story. I chuckled darkly as she was breathless, making her chest rise and fall in the sight that I would much appreciate if we were in bed right now, making love to one another.
"do you want me to go, my love?" I said as I nuzzled her neck. She holds her breath as I kissed her collarbone and sucked on it to leave a hickey for the morning.
"I…I…I don't know," she said stammering at her words. I smirked against her skin before I looked into her eyes for one last time.
"very well, I see you in the morning then," I said before I claimed her mouth in a searing kiss that would make her want more if I left her hanging. She gasped which was good as I stuck my tongue into her mouth and she grasped my neck for support.
Her erected nipples were grazing at my half-opened button shirt. I have discarded the jacket but it did not stop her to roam my body to full capacity that she can. I broke the kiss and walked away but her hands on my wrist said otherwise.
"Don't go," she said as I turned to look at her maroon eyes with desire, need lust and of course, love but she would never acknowledge that. That how stubborn she was.
"You said me to get the hell out. so, I'm going," I said, teasing her, as I removed her hands around my wrists. I wondered what she would do. I turned my back around and walked toward the door before something, or perhaps someone was pushing me onto the floor.
Kathleen Remes' POV
After he kissed me the way that no one else did, he has the nerve to leave me hanging. I was lost when he stepped away and walked away from me. I cursed myself for asking him to leave me. I don't want him to. So, I did what I must do to get the release that I have been craving since morning. I tackled him to the ground.
his shocked expression was priceless but suddenly, it was replaced by something else, something that he has been waiting for a long time now.
