ELEMENTAL MAGIC SYSTEM
DETAILS (Used for):
- Connect magic to an element or element and form an external connection with nature
- Use magic to take an element from nature or a creature and mimic the natural process (This affects the mind and only one can be mimicked) and create a reliable internal elemental source.
Tiers (APPLICABLE TO ALL LEVELS OF RELEASE)
Mortal-->Earth--> Heaven--> Release (1x--> 9x : For most living creatures) (1x--> Semi-∞x : For UNKNOWN and UNKNOWN)
Grades (APPLICABLE TO ALL TIERS)
Low--> Half-Step Mid-->Mid--> Half-Step High--> High --> Half-Step Perfect --> Perfect --> Half-Step Pinnacle --> Pinnacle
CANNOT BE USED WITH PHYSICAL MAGIC BECAUSE IT CANNOT CHANGE THE BODY OR CONNECT TO NATURE BECAUSE OF ITS MAGICAL PROTECTION. CANNOT BE USED WITH MENTAL MAGIC BECAUSE IT CHANGES MAGIC INTO A FORM THAT IS MOST SUITABLE FOR THE ELEMENT, MEANING THE MIND WILL BE UNDER CONSTANT ATTACK
Aptitude (Mortal)
- Forge a symbitoic connection to ones surroundings/ nature .
- More connections means that you will get more in return which means that you have to generate an increased amount of magic which increases naturally with use
- Can use the links to generate magical effects similar to the elemental type you received, but they require a catalyst. (A SPARK GOES OFF AND ONE OF IF NOT MORE CONNECTIONS REPLICATE THAT SPARK)
- There is little protection against your own magic and can backfire since it's made by replicating external things
-High efficiency as the magic comes from nature so it recharges faster and lasts longer while also doing more damage
-Someone with more connections can steal control of your magic once it is used
Internalization (Mortal)
- Change the link that is forged into a one sided relationship with you taking all of the element for yourself without giving anything back to nature.
- It changes the connections themselves into the same thing as the surroundings.
- High amount of resistance to your own power but not the element. (Pushing your own power beyond the limit could result in a backfire as well/ [FANTASY LOGIC] like the difference between when a dragon breathes fire for a few minutes vs a few hours. It will be fine for those minutes but after an hour it will probably melt itself or burn its skin)
-Forces the links that are made, into a constant funnel for the element chosen passively increasing the similarity between the connection and the real thing
-low efficiency and low recharge rate and does not last long but it's strength is unmatched and can be used for all ranges of attack without the detriment of it being taken away.
Attunment (Earth)
- Connects to the elements outside of the body and creates a shell that is formed of pure elemental magic which is mainly used to temper the body and improve the size and strength of the elemental that one can connect to.
- Can be done with all elements but is hard to do for Internal people because of their lack of element less connections.
- How much resistance there is when being attacked by internal elemental magic (Damage taken)
- How much resistance there is when being attacked by natural elemental magic (Damage taken)
Materialization (Earth)
- The ability to control and/or create constructs with an element. It is basically summoning an elemental creature that you get from contracting with nature or forming one from your own magic.
(Forming a contract is easy for External users. Dowwnside is the connection is one an unstable one that could potentially be dissolved by the summoned being at any time. Internal users need to separate everything that they have worked for to get another element and create a spirit. Downside is they will never be able to personally use that element again.
- Basically a summoned helper that works on the summoners magic for Externals, or a created familiar that is semi-independant of the creator.
Will (Individual/ human/ mortal/ Semi- impossible)
- The ability to bend nature to your will without the use of "magic". Compleletly impossible for anyone to learn unless they have been taught at some point or were given a piece of it at some point in their life.
