Mr Anderson gave the siblings time to think and raise any more concern. After 5 minutes, no one said anything. He tappend Kenichi shoulder "Bring everything here"
Kenichi did what he had been told without any further ado. In normal circumstance, he would not take any order from his father, but today was different. He was very blissful, It was the best day in his life, nothing could ruin his mood.
"I don't believe you agree with their reletionship easily" Nick said.
Mr Anderson grinned " Well, you are right. Finlay and his maternal mother fall apart. Initially I prefer him to have partner with strong background for his future career "
"Why do you agree he and my sister to be together then ?" Sean turned to ask.
"Because your sister is very powerfull. She is the only person who can tame Finlay"
Every one laughed at Mr anderson answer.
"Hey, don't laugh at me ! Finlay is not as gentle as you think. He only is gentle to certain people. You guys are one of them, me and my family are not include"
Mr Anderson zipped his mouth as he saw Kenichi was back with his hand full of paper bags. Behind him, the chauffeur and his assistant followed suit. Their hands also full of stuffs.
Kenichi put everything on his hands on the table and signaled the other two to place the stuffs on their hand on empty coffee table.
"What are these ?" Mrs Feng asked confusedly.
Mr Anderson smiled "This is small present from our family. We know you guys have this kind of customs when it come to proposing marriage"
Mr Feng waived his hands frantical "No, No, we don't stick with that customs at all. Please bring them back"
"It's very impolite of you to turn down my family and me good gesture. Please take it. We really have no intention to look down at you, we just ⁹respect your custums because we are a family"
Mr and Mr Feng glanced at each other. They knew it would be very rude if they turned the present back. They half-heartedly asked the boys to bring them inside.
Mr anderson let a triumph smile as the siblings took everything inside. He coughed "My parents visited a furtune teller this morning. According to their chinese date of birth, the fortune teller came up with two auspicious date for the wedding. One is in June and one in october. Second saturday in June is the most auspicious time but it's too close. We don't have enough time to prepare everything. October is perfecf month but the problem is it's not on weekend. If we don't do it this year, they have to wait for another two years, it's too long"
Kenichi rolled his eyes. He suspected they just made up an excuse.
Mr and Mrs Feng was startled. They did not expected the other party already brought up wedding plan.
"I'm sorry, is it to early to talk about wedding ? I mean .. Kenichi not even propose to Cacha yet" Alan blurted.
"I'm with him" Nick supported his sibling.
Mr Anderson turned at Kenichi "when will you propose her ?"
Kenichi rubbed his chin "Since you guys will come to visit us, I'm going to propose when every one are there. By the way since when you believe in fortune teller ?"
"We just follow your in law's tradition. Lets decide which day for you to hold your wedding. It has to be this year"
"We don't really follow such tradition. Any day is good" Mrs Feng signed inwardly. She wondered why all her children wedding were always in rush. Most of her friends kids needed up to 12 months preparation, but hers were all within 3 months.
The wedding discussion took longer time than he expected. Mr Anderson stayed in the Feng resident for lunch and through out the afternoon. It was not an easy deal, even he as businessman felt it was very challenging meeting since Kenichi, Nick and Sean were very persistent. Three of them constantly kept challenging his idea. He really wanted to kick Kenichi ass and threw three of them out of the room. If only he and the Feng couple , it would be much more easy because they were more like a yes man.
At the end, they drew agreement. first, they were going to hold engagement party in June in UK. Two, they wedding would be hold in Japan in first week of october. Three, all the enggagement expense would be shouldered by the Anderson. Four, Kenichi would be the one who paid for wedding expenses.
For the engagement party, neither Kenichi nor Feng family had no right to object how the anderson would arrange it. They would only need to bring their luggage.
Kenichi did not like this idea at the beginning. consider his paternal family's social status, he was sure it was going to be a high profile one. He prefered a low profile one. Sean and Nick also felt uneasy about this.
About the wedding, the auspicious day was on friday. Kenichi decided to have Japanese traditional wedding followed by the Feng family wedding ceremony such as tea ceremony ect. The wedding party and the wedding vow would be on the Sunday, two days after that.
"You guys are welcome to imvite any guests to the wedding party, just tell me how many people"
"It won't be too many. We're just going to invite our close relatives also my sons and daughter parents in law" Mr Feng said.
"don't forget Lana and her family, Ed, Josh and his partner" Alan said.
"Our relatives are a lot" Nick added
"No problem" Kenichi was more than happy.
"How about the enggament party ?" Mr Anderson asked
"It will be only us, her parents and her siblings. That's include our God son and faughter, plus Lana's family. It would be in polite for us not to invite them since they live there"
"You can invite more. How about your sons parents in law ?"
"No need. Just the wedding"
"Sure. Just let me know few days before of you wish to add more guests. Finlay, how about you ? how many of your friends will come to the enggament party ?"
"None" inviting this friends, especially Pierro to party was a suicide for him. Anyway, For him, enggament party was not important, it was just his paternal family desire.
