章 47: Chapter 47
After she ended her call, Cacha got ready for work. It was still a little bit earlier, Keinichi had not come out yet, she went to his place. She was about to knock his door when Alice question whether she liked him nor not came up in her mind. She leaned on the wall in front of his place and rethinked about it.
Coincidently, Keinichi opened his door and startled to see her there "Have you been here for long time ?"
She shook her head "No, I just came. I woke up early today so I was thinking that it's time for me to wait for you"
Since they met again, it was alway him who waited for her.
He smiled and clocked his door "Lets go. Have you had your breakfast yet ?"
"yes"
"Lets have coffee then"
"don't you have your breakfast yet ?" She asked.
"No. I did some work this morning"
"Eventough you are busy, you should not neglect your own body. you should not skip any of your meal"
He was dumpstrick that she was unhappy because he skipped meal. Nevertheless, he was happy with it, she looked like a girlfriend who was nagging her boyfriend
He smiled and pinched her cheek " Yes Mam. I won't do it again in the future"
She grinned and tapped his shoulder "Good boy" .
Apparently, he woke up very early this morning. Same like her, he watched the press conference as well. After that he did some work for his own business that had been untouched especially the last few days. When He stopped what he did, he did not have enough time to have breakfast.
They sat outside a cafe closed to their office. It was not their usual eatary place, they tried a new one toda. yHe had his breakfast while she just had a cup of coffee.
"has everything been resolved ?" He asked.
"Yes. They are having BBQ lunch now" she smiled.
"That's good"
"Did you watch the press conference ?" Cacha randomly asked
"I did" He nodded.
"What do you think ? those people are unbelievable ruthless and bad. How come that kind of peoples exist in this world"
He laughed and patted her head "there are al ot of people that worst than them, It just you who don't realise it"
"Hey. don't pat my head ! I am not a little baby girl nor a pet. You are as annoying as my brothers" She pouted.
She was unhappy not because she felt offended. His action made her miss her family so much, her brothers and her father often patted her head lile that.
"Did they often pat you like I did ?" He teased. She did not anwer him but from her facial expression, he knew that they must did the same as him.
She suddently frowned "No wonder eldest sister has heen telling me to be careful and not blindly trust anyone, It turned out that she had a misserable past".
"Including me ?"
"What did you say ?" Cacha did not understand his question.
"Not blindly trust me ?" He made it clear.
"You are exception. I put my safety under your hand" She winked.
Keinichi heart sank when he heard her answer. He was very happy but he wondered what she meant. He wanted to clarify her meaning however at the end he did not ask.
"Hi Charlene, Hi Keinichi" Michael, on of their team waived his hand. He came to the cafè to have a cup of coffee.
Cacha waived back and let him sit with them while waiting for his order.
"You two look very close" Michael asked out of curiosity.
Cacha smiled "His grandparents are my parents' friend. we know each other for years but only meet again here" She made it simple.
"Ahh. I see" Michael grinned . He was glad that he still had hope to chase her as Keinichi was not her boyfriend.
Keinichi frowned. He was not pleased with Michael. Cacha might not aware, but from Michael attitude, he suspected that he had feeling to her. A man understood other man feeling. After all, Cacha was an cheerfull, cute and friendly girl, it was not suprising if any men fancied her. He gave Michael a clod stare and remind him self to watch this man closely.
Micheal stayed with them after his order was ready. He waited for Keinichi to finished his breakfast. Keinichi finished his breakfast faster than he intitially plan, he was not happy with Michael present as all. He told him self not to come to that place again to avoid any disturbance from unwanted people.
Three of them walked together to their office. They did not talk much. Michael enggaged a short conversation with Keinichi, it was mostly about work. Cacha did not talk much either, she was not confortable with Michael yet.
Cacha sat on her desk, turned off her laptop then poked Keinichi armed.
"Mm ?"
"I forgot yo tell you earlier. Mum said she is going to talk to you after she is back home" She winked. She remembered it while ago when they had their breakfast, but she chose not to say it because Michael was with them. Cacha seemed very easy going however she never revealed any of her private live with outsider, except Keinichu.
Keinchi was dumpstruck "What for ?"
She shook her head "No Idea. Most likely because I make a lot of trouble for you".
He laughed "My honour to help you. When will they be back home ?" He asked. he was not ready to talk to any of her parents yet.
"Next week"
"Ok" He inhaled a deep breath because He still had time to prepare him self. He did not understood why he was so nervous and anxious just because her mother wanted to speak with him.
